What would bad hit detection look like? I can't think of a time where I put a crosshair over someone and pulled the trigger without them taking damage. |

I have a larger issue of shield hp bars not updating. I see armor drop but not shields. |

I think a good chunk of people just blame hit detection instead of bad aim... |

I onced Sniped a Scout in the head three times...no damage..no blue flash his shield took damage. He just kept out sniping away as if everything was fine. That was a pretty good indication.
You especially notice it when your scoping, thanks to the wonderful readout we now get from the Scope.

The hit detection is poor, and because of the issue of having to 'lead' your target because of the lag it makes it obvious, however you have to just put up and deal with it for now, this will not be an issue which is in the full release so just go with it... remember its still a >>>> BETA <<<< |

What is that blue flash you all talk about?

At very long range RBS can wreck havok on sniper accuracy; at least that's what I assume is happening.
I can put the reticle right on a targets head (it turns red so they should be in range), while they are completely stationary, and if they are very far away only 1:4 of my shots connect. |

it's this spash on the avatar that is the particle graphic of the shield asorbing the shot, sometimes you see it, it means you hit someone with full shields, but the shield is not going down at all

(on black ops) when people join matches in the middle of a match, it lags. Also the individuals internet connection may be slow and laggy. |

Bad hit detection is a thing still, absolutely. And you know it's happening because, as mentioned, you shoot someone, there is a blue flash indicating their shield absorbed the damage, but their shield bar stays full. It's very easy to see when it happens. |

Did you take into account wind speed & the angle of the trajectory? Were you on a level surface? |

Step One: Stop using Wi-Fi like a scrub and wire up your PS3 Step Two: Take the time to aim, even if you sacrifice some of your gaming, this is a beta, actually test it. Step Three: If you actually have consistent hit detection issues, write down the time and the battle and send it to the support email. Step Four: Stop spamming the forums with very badly written threads in the wrong forum section. (Bug Reports is >> That way) |

Just wait until the next time a scout suit runs directly towards a heavy. You can then experience it first hand. |
