I think it would be much better if we can program keyboard just like in computer games so if it is possible make it happen and also when i changing sensitivity of mouse..... I tried to adjust it at least 100 times in game and it didn't changed so it need probably to bee fixed. Thank you |

Mouse is like that by design. Part of this game is the change in turning speed.
remapping controls is a must though. |

Well its designed badly. Its unplayable with such a slow mouse speed. Swiping several times to turn 180 degrees is unacceptable. Gimping the controls in the name of balance is cheap and lazy. |

I fully agree here. Either give proper mouse support, or none at all. |

I agree, playing with mouse sensitivity that low is worse than using a controller, and I really hate controllers. I am honestly not interested in playing the game if the sensitivity isn't increased significantly. I hope they do raise the sensitivity, because the gameplay is very interesting to me, but sensitivity that low makes it unplayable with a mouse.
Also as mentioned above there appears to be the option to raise the sensitivity but it has no actual effect. |

The turning rate is capped.. so this means sensitivity/dpi means very little in turning..
so stop moving the mouse so fast when turning, and you should be able to turn without eating up all the mouse surface.
Hope this helps. Dust isn't Counterstrike.. gotta get used to a new way of moving with the mouse, which will take time and practice. |

So we need to learn how to overcome the turn speed gimpness? Please. I don't care what kind of equipment these soldiers are using, if they turn that slow, I'd rather just go fight naked with rocks. At least I'd be able to turn my head. CCP, you MUST fix the mouse/keyboard support! We need to be able to turn with whatever sensitivity we can handle and we need to be able to map our keys! |

Programmable keyboard controls are a must and I agree there needs to be an adjustment to the way the turrets rotate when using the mouse. As is, even if you compensate for the slow rate of turn for the turrets, a controller user has the advantage here as they simply keep the thumb-stick pushed over, whereas the mouse user has to completely adjust the speed at which they move the mouse and even moving extremely slowly, you still have the disadvantage of having to compensate in the first place when you are already accustom to whatever your turn/look speed is at your given sensitivity setting. A simple solution would be to allow "a,w,s,d" to function as turret rotation and angle for wider turns and higher angles while leaving the mouse for fine tuning your aim.
One of the other major issues with the mouse is the lack of cursor support for the menus and selecting spawn locations. Adding this would be a vast improvement. |
