I can't even say how many times this has happened! It seems when I try to buy a skillbook for the first time, the game crashes, but it still takes my ISK that I used to buy the skillbook with! I don't even get the skillbook and I have to reload the game again! I think this has been posted a few times, but the problem still exsist. So please try to fix this problem, and keep us updated on it's progress. It's ridiculous that I can't level up my skills, and ISK , hard earned ISK , is still taken even though I don't recieve the skill I purchased! |

Well at least yours wasnt as bad as mine. When I went to buy a skill that cost 500,000 isk. It took all my isk away from me, I had almost 2 million isk at that point. So for me, I didn't get the skill and it took ALL the isk i had from me. |

That is a real problem. You may want to place this under the Bugs and technical help section so that the right people at CCP see it right away, rather than here in gerneral. Hope it gets fixed soon... |

I thought I had this problem. It turned out that I didn't have the prerequisites for the skill that the skillbook teaches. Once I got the prereq, I was able to use the book, even though it didn't look like I had it before.
That was weird. |

This. The game will only crash if you don't meet the prereqs. You will still, however, have the book which you can use once you do meet the prereqs. You can tell by how the font is white instead of grayed out. I lost a decent amount of isk before I figured it out. |

hi kinda new here also, but ive noticed what the above guy said is right. watch what color the font is: white means you have the skill book already but you might not have the required level for another skill to upgrade it yet, once upgraded it turns blue. grey is inactive and you dont have the skill book yet. as for why it crashes, idk its happened to me before. |

That's what the big red X is for. Hit +ö when highlighting the skill to view info on it and use L2/R2 to get to the prereq tab. |
