How can one tell that an Orbital Strike is available? I saw somewhere that it can be called in by a squad leader, and what button one uses if you are a squad leader, but not anything about any indicators.
Another question (maybe this is the answer to above?). Why do the colors of the opponents' health bars (above their heads when they're targeted), sometimes change to being different colors for different bars?
Sometimes it's hard to know what's some indicator of something, and what is a game glitch -- like when a normal infantryman has a triangle instead of the normal chevron indicator above it's head. I was told it was a glitch in the last build. Was/is it?
Thx!

In the match hit select and go to the squad tab and check if your squad leader first. If you are and the notification comes up press the right button on the D pad and you should see orbital bombardment. Hit that select your target from the map and BOOM. |

Tonight someone in-game on coms told me the indicator will show up in the top right of the screen. I haven't seen one yet, so it's still a bit of a mystery to me.
I try to remember to check if I'm a Squad Leader at match start... sometimes I forget.
The other night on coms a more experienced player was getting all bent out of shape and frustrated and was yelling, "Push the frickin' button you dumbass!" I finally figured out from their conversation that he and the others on coms were talking about something totally new to me called the Orbital Strike, but I still don't know if he was talking to me or someone else. LOL
Thx!

Go here: Forum Post
and read post #9, I explained to another forum goer about squad leadership and orbital strikes.
Also to add to the info.
Orbital strikes seem to become available after getting enough kills individually or after your squad does enough to earn the squad leader a strike. It's unusual and intermittent but it does seem to pop up closer to the ends of games for most people. |

Different coloured health bars indicate squad leaders and your own squad. |
