An Example:
I believe before the new, July 17, 2012, build that, if you had 50 AV Grenades and restocked an entire DSF (drop suit fit) that was using them to 40, that the game didn't buy more of the AV Grenades. With the same scenario, now if you restock an entire DSF to 10, which is using AV Grenades, and you start off with 50, you end up with 60 of them.
JMO, but I feel it was much, much, much more convenient as it was before.
Anyone agree??
Thx!

The way they have it now is better if you have fits that rely on the same gear, since before you could have two fits stocked to five, you die five times in one and suddenly neither fit is valid.
They did implement the ability to restock items individually (go to fit, edit, press X over the item), but if there's a way to restock the dropsuit itself like this I haven't found it. Still gotta go to the market for that.
Personally, I'd like to be able to toggle between the two. |

I've also seen it try to restock miltia dropsuits also. Some reason it couild not figure out that I only need 1 copy of the miltia assualt suit, not 25.

Where did you see they were going to fix it? I've seen threads asking for it to be fixed, but haven't seen replies? (not doubting you, I just like to see what they say.) |

Totally agree and was coming on the Forums to specifically search for or create a thread for this :). I definitely prefer the old way much better and is less of a hassle. A setting to toggle between the two methods would be the best choice and keep everyone happy. |

I agree the original method of restocking was faster and more efficient at making sure multiple fits based on a single suit didn't run out of something accidentally. Restocking the entire fitting to X amount just purchased the items necessary to bring everything in the fitting to X. Now restocking the entire fitting to X amount purchases X of everything. It now takes a lot more time to manage different fits based on the same suit.
If we can't have a toggle between the two restocking systems, I vote for the original version - easier to use and wastes less time restocking. |
