I really like the new build compared to the one before it. It is much bigger and much more in-depth then before.
I was wondering if anyone saw that the communications map for ambush for the last build now has a night map and on some skirmish maps it is now a small portion of the map that is now just one capture point with two or three other ones. This shows that Dust 514 is in store for some big maps. I mean has anyone zoomed out the map in the RTS view to see how big some of this maps will be. It is going to be huge.

So what do you guys thing about this. Excited. I'm excited knowing that the player counts are going to increase. They said that the game works with 128 players they just need to test it more and that by hopefully the end of 2012 or Q1 of 2013 they will have 256 players.

P.S. CCP , that huge building in the back round that is in almost every single map. Will we be able to interact with it in the future because that would be really awesome to go up to a structure that big in a game. |

Dude, for real. Some of the maps are HUGE and that will continue for sure.
It's so funny to me that there are reallly NO dropships to be seen atm.
There will be shortly, of course, but right now.....nothing.
I keep running and running.....hills over hills....getting my sci-fy on.
I really love the new build and my faith in DUST 514 has been restored. |

And the skirmish map (plateaus) from last build now has a daytime map, different name......same map, can't remember the name though |

There are four maps, and each map has a larger version for Skirmish and a smaller version for Ambush (total of 8). In addition, the new Galaxy seeding system has added various climates/seasons/times: spring/winter, day/night, windy/calm/stormy, barren/green/desert, snow/red sand/white sand. Anyone see any other variations yet? |
