Anyone else tired of the majority of people being killed to being spawned in the enemy teams death ball?
If I didnt know any better I would describe it as pure collusion between the spawn "gods" and the other team but thats just foolish.
Ambush wont be "agreeable" for many people until the spawn executions end. Seriously CCp this is Dust not Vietnam
Edit: uplinks only work for out of reach areas or until they figure out to camp it but I like those mechanics |

So... now that they have randomized spawning to avoid spawn camps at the request of the masses you are unhappy. Got it :P
In seriousness though, I think the current spawn system is fine. The majority of the time, I spawn in an area that feels miles away from the fighting on ambush. Occasionally, I spawn where the fighting in.
The biggest problem is feeling disoriented and trying to gather your bearings, but this is to be expected with random spawns. |

Uplinks will work much better in Ambush when there is finally a way to turn them dang things off without throwing down a new link. |

The only solution I found you out yet is a pure militia Uplink shutdown outfit. ^^ |

I am happy with spawns. I occasionally spawn into a mass of enemy but that's the risk I take when my team doesn't setup a drop uplink and safe spawn area... |

I dont trust my team to do this; its usually me setting up a spawn uplinks at our deathball. Our deathball moves off of it and I either need to place another Uplink to cancel the first so it doesnt turn in to a spawn camp or let the good posibility of a spawn camp happen. If we could turn off old uplinks without having to throw new ones then I agree the random spawning is then a great mechanic. |

Agreed, I am usually the one throwing out the up-links as well...at least until it becomes "popular" or the FTM to throw them out
Also, can you shoot out your own DU? |

No Ive defiantly tossed grenades onto of up links to kill enemies and they survive that so I assume no friendly fire is on. As for real testing I will do that next match and update. |

I think what the OP is saying is that in the Ambush fights, he is having a disproportionate number of spawns in sight of the enemy and that he wants the random spawning in Ambush maps to take into account the position of the enemy and try to keep you from spawning right in with the bad guys.
Spawning at random locations around objectives in Skirmish is not a problem.
Thats my interpretation anyway. |

I think the spawn is fine as far as the 'risk' of spawning into the other teams deathball (really? we are going with deathball? so be it...) because if it's happening to my team then it is happening to theirs. And I have gotten at least 3 'double-kills' when this happens while my teams deathball is engaging. A smg wielding mad man in your midst while clustered AND already down in shields can be devastating!
What DOES suck spawn wise is being spawned way out in the middle f'n NO WHERE when both teams are under 10 clones each... No time to even DRIVE to the party! |

No, keep throwin out the up-links, we need people like you. It can never be too "popular" to use a valuable tactical tool. |

I'm happy with the spawning. Yes it's annoying being spawned into the middle of death, but that's not happening all the time. Maybe if it spawned you 50m from a buddy in Ambush? I'm not going to be playing much ambush on release so I'm not too bothered. |

I view it as if you are out in the middle of no where you cant lose the game for your team and at least get to them unless its the last few clones left. I just think matches will be filled with more play if there is less spawn killing. |
