on average with my type 1 heavy suit and a vanilla heavy machine gun with militia everything else (shield extenders, basic armor plate) I can only pull around an average of 60k isk a match: thats barely enough to cover ONE loadout, let alone 5 (least amount of deaths in a reasonably long match) . Please reduce the prices of these items and/or give me a way to sell all this totally useless salvage (yeah, sure , light damage mods are totally helping my heavy machinegun and suit....) |

It is getting better. Rewards seem to be going up. Limit yourself to 3 pricey suit ups a match and you should be able to make enough to at least still play a decent fitting a few times a match.
I don't think they need to reduce the prices. Heavy is a bargain compared to scout suits with decent weapons.
But yeah, being able to sell salvage would be good. |

How is it a bargain but it overall costs more |

It hurts to lose your gear, doesn't it? So it's working as intended! Keep in mind that we're playing NPC missions, probably not even Factional Warfare, so the rewards are thin (just like running L1/L2 missions in EVE). When we get the player market and manufacturing the prices will probably go down (or be even higher, cause there might not be so many carebears in Dust as in EVE) and then you will be able to sell your salvaged gear. This build is probably used to test the reward system (as always ;) without the skill muiltiplier and cheap tanks spamming all the maps, hell, last time I played I got owned by a Sica, due to having so many snipers on the map and not so many heavies (I counted maybe 2 or 3, including me) - but I have to say it was fun! |

also there has been talk of "PVE" missions, presumably for ISK and faction standing, so running some missions now and then would help cover running costs on contracts lost. |
