Finally got into a skirmish match and suddenly realised the only way I could help the team was to hop into a militia heavy suit and waste LAV's. Then I found out how amazing the scrambler pistol is. It's kinda really deadly, to the point where I am now thinking about skilling it.
Good range, pinpoint accuracy and high damage. Me likey. |

Lol, if it's high damage, it's not a 9. I should practice with it some, I seem to only use it when I'm in "panic mode" and it doesn't do me any good. |

haha, I know it's not a 9. Think I heard that in a song once or something. But yes, I found if I stay calm and aim that sucker it wastes pretty damn good. |

The range kinda sucks, though. So does the lack of rounds per mag, but there's a skill for that. |

I don't know if the rounds per mag needs to be increased, but I would like to see an overall ammo increase for it. If you are in a heavy suit you will run out of swarm ammo real quick and it would be nice to have a decent amount of ammo for your fallback weapon.
It's still real easy to miss with the scrambler and the gut instinct is to squeeze off at least six rounds at a time. I also find I spend more time reloading it than firing it. Wouldn't want to get into a down and dirty fight against and AR with one but it does even the odds slightly. |

Considering my .45 holds 8 in the mag and it's a 100 year old design, Yeah, the scrambler should hold at LEAST 15 rounds. Modern duty sized 9mm pistols hold 17-19 and 40 cals hold 15-16. The .45 gets around 13. Of course this all depends on the design of the pistol small pistols for concealed carry tend to only hold 6-8 rounds. The Beretta M9 that the army uses holds 17 rounds of 9mm in the magazine. It doesn't make sense to me that technologically advanced mercs in the future only have access to 6 rounds for a side arm. |
