It means you have to rely on squad command orders for any teamwork, and mostly nobody pays attention to those anyway. Hell squad leaders may not even be aware they're in charge. I always have to double check. Voice needs to be on by default, and not on push to talk. Make it an opt out not an opt in system.

Trying to run ANYTHING on the team channel is doomed due to the amount of garbage on it. Team comms should be reserved for squad leaders only and there should be a multiple-listen option. Until then I'm staying in squad comms.

Occasionly you might hear someone but its now a rarity compared to before.It needs to made simple and obvious so casual players can get in and set up chat easy . As for team leaders maybe a double arrow above their heads not just one to help highlight who is and isnt ?

Unfortunately mine melted and the new models... well... cheap bastards.

After some searching I found some usb hubs that plug into the two ports to give you four. Look up ps3 usb hub

I, personally just use the down arrow on the direction pad to bring up the squad command menu in-game, but according to the manual, you can also access it by using R2: "Press the R2 button to bring up the weapon switch window. Use the left analog stick to select the squad menu icon to bring up the squad command menu. From the squad command menu, you can give attack, defend or rally orders to your squad by selecting the an objective that you wish your squad to move to."

Also go on your local corp chat and squad up with other corp members. That what i do. If the corp members who join you squad dont have their mics on tell them how to turn it on. (I have also found that sometimes its mutes my own mic if i turn push too talk off so i have to talk with push to talk on) Lets get some teamwork going.
