It's kind of a pain starting out behind assault, scout, and heavy dropsuit players when we have to gain extra isk & SP just to be at the same level. |

Agreed. Maybe move the electronics and nanotech Assault build to the Logistics and have the Enforcer be more weaponry, light weapons, and grenades for its starter. |

Third, when I eventually get back in I'll be stuck with a sniper skillset again. |

I agree. Logistics is tough to get into and hard to make SP/ISK with in spite of the very good changes made to the suits and equipment.
A logistics starting skill set would be a very useful next step. Enable the Lowest level logistic suit. Give the new logi one of each of the logistic equipment components so when they look at the equipment slot they see all the options available to them. Shorten the shield timeouts more to give them additional survivability. |

What's wrong with starting as a logi? It's actually easier than the rest. Get an assault rifle. (Standard) Militia of the following: -Repair tool -Nanohive -Nanite Injector
You're set. |

You're set. Starter Assault comes with Assault Dropsuit skill high enough to equip a Standard dorpsuit instead of just the Militia variant. Starter Heavy comes with Heavy Dropsuit skill high enough to equip a Standard dorpsuit instead of just the Militia variant. Starter Scout comes with Scout Dropsuit skill high enough to equip a Standard dorpsuit instead of just the Militia variant.
I sense a pattern here.
Show me how to start off with a non-Militia Logi Dropsuit, and you'll have an argument. |

What he means is there is nor starting class for logi. Wanna be a scout? There's one that starts with scout suits, sniper rifles, and the SKILLS. Wanna be Heavy? One class has heavy suits, swarm launchers, and the SKILLS. Wanna be Assault? One starts with ARs, Assault suits, and the SKILLS. Wanna be a Logi? Tough luck, start from zero. |

I think it's worth mentioning, some of the skills that are applicable to each of the other classes are also applicable to Logi suits, and that most heavies WON'T be running with a Swarm Launcher long-term, so that starting skill isn't very helpful, and I like running Scout WITHOUT wanting to be a sniper, so that starting skill was no use to me.
More variety in skillsets is a big deal, particularly for the Logi players right now, but for EVERYONE to some degree. |
