So I've decided to write a small mochup of the buttons I found that work with keyboard and mouse ya know for us PC people on the forums.
First, yes bluetooth does work most PS3s should have it built in. To set up simply go to PS3 Menu -> Settings -> Accesories -> Manage BD (Bluetooth) devices from there simply trigger your bluetooth reactor and it should pick it up, easy 123 I can switch to computer and back without a problem (make note you might want a spare wired keyboard <.<)
Alright down to the keys.
Left analog stick, WSAD
(X) depends on the menu, but it is the left mouse button in selection menus, and it is E, this will allow you to hack and interact
Triange, this I found to be the Left (maybe right as well) Ctrl key, this will bring up "info" in menus and allow you to change stance in battle.
Squad, This one seems to be mostly R, so going to Merc HQ after game you hit R, it also is your reload key in battle.
(O), This one kinda jumps around abit but it's your Right mouse button, and sometimes your Escape button still trying to figure out all the places it is.
R2 and L2, this ones abit weird, primarily it's - and = keys but for some reason X also is R2 and I have found a alternate L2, but these will allow you to shift tabs in the menus and zoom in and out on the map.
Grenade : The X key.
Meele (R3?) : Q
Map : O key
Vehicle Buy : V key
Start button : Enter
Weapon switch : Middle mouse button and Capslock.
Now some things I noticed that were either missing or just plain bizarre and unintuitive.
First there is no "Right thumb stick" for context commands, so you can't use vehicle abilities, it just doesn't move the ability slider when you move the mouse, WSAD or Arrow keys, but this also is a problem for the map which doesn't allow you to pan the map around.
Second you can't use WASD or any know combination to select a spawning location on skirmish it just doesn't react for some reason.
Third How come all these buttons have secondary keys but only 1/3 of them seem to be recorded down in the menu? Would be useful to get some idea whats going on. |
