A few things I would like to point out.
Respawn time is somewhat annoying. I understand there may be some correlation to "drop in" time, once your loadout and drop location is selected - however I see no point in resetting the delay if and when you decide to cancel deployment and move to another zone. It is already troublesome not being able to guide a player's decent from the dropship. Respawning shouldn't be this punishing to the player. This keeps you out of the fight for longer, should you realize an error in your own choice and try to correct it.
Also, in relation to the previous, if a player's team is stationed "on base" in defense, or what have you, isn't it reasonable to assume there is no need for a "drop in"?
Third, selecting a loadout is also something of a bother. Isn't there a way for the game to automatically select the last used loadout when respawning? Quite frustrating having to select the same loadout each time you respawn when you're trying to learn to use one of the classes.
To mention, a lot of small, silly things seem to lack much needed automation. I'll make note of them as I continue playing the beta.
Besides this, it is truly a conventional masterpiece. I look forward to the improvements you decide to implement, and hope to see some great revisions in the near future. |

It kind of makes sense from a lore stand point, you have to strip and dress in a new suit if you change class, or hop clones, etc. One thing I found strange is that they removed the ability to reorder fits and delete militia fits, unless they added it again in the latest build I must admit I didn't check, well, I checked for a reorder option (which there wasn't) but didn't try to delete a militia fit. Kind of want to move triage to the top so I can just button bash. I lose a lot of game time scrolling down lists it seems since I can't get my most used fits to the top. |

You can delete militia fits in the new build and i agree because i hated scrolling all the way down the list of dropsuits to select the only one i that ever used in the previous build. |

However it isn't in the best interest of the franchise to sustain similarities between EVE and Dust 514 which would otherwise impede gameplay as an FPS genre. I understand that lore is extremely important, and that understanding one's death is merely the transition of the player to another body. But not once has anyone largely questioned where all the soldiers of CoD come from, or what happens when they die. Most fans of FPS games do not actually care about such minute detail, and even still if one should appreciate the fact that you are changing both clones/bodies as well as equipment - it should stand noted that this is merely a trivial matter and has nothing to do with the FPS genre. If anything it serves only as an annoyance which will discourage hardcore FPS gamers from thoroughly enjoying the franchise.
Perhaps that is the aim. I do not know. But I do know that having to select a class each time I respawn is both cumbersome and frustrating. There should be a way to change this, set some sort of automatic loadout selection, or like CoD, automatically select the last used class inside the menu before deployment. |

But basically you want a game feature from COD in a game that isn't COD. This game promotes working as a team not lone-wolf. You need incentive not to simply suicide and let people revive you. |

Well... no. Not at all. In fact I despise CoD. I was only using it as a reference. Should I have used a more tactical example? Like Ghost Recon? Because I know what teamwork is. It's what I do and do well. I know how to organize and coordinate in real time with my teammates, because if I don't they'll just run off and get killed. I know how to coordinate scouts on the flank as support and tactical cover when on the move. I can predict enemy movement without using a field map, and like a lone-wolf surprise them from behind. My playstyles are various and efficient. I can change strategies almost effortlessly to achieve optimal success.
My skills are essential. Please, do not underestimate them. |
