I've sorta gotten use to sprinting with L3 but R3 for melee is a nightmare! Also, melee in general ain't so great, please fix that, I would love to go stealth and OHOK somebody. |

Almost every ps3 shooter I can think of uses R3 for the knife. Is it really so odd? Plus where else would you have it, the other buttons are assigned to more important endvours ^^ lets not tempt them in to the whole "contextual action" thing. We know from experience those things never work ^^
Oh and cloak will likely be a module if it isn't already. Haven't looked for it in a while. |

Awesome, I remember looking at the skills and seeing stuff about sensors, but no sensor modules to buy, it made me sad.
I really want to do my best at doing actual recon. plus sniping, plus OHK plus LAV piloting plus demolitions if we get good stuff to blow up |

I would be the scout unit in an RTS that blows away the Fog of War, eliminates forward scouts, lets the main thrust pass while reporting their strength, then I sneak into their base and blow s*** up. |

What I'd like to see is a Shift button. Once pressed, every other button has a new function. Sadly, even though remappable controls are said to be in the works, this will not likely materialize. And don't tell me it's too complicated for the players, what genre and input methodology are we using again? |

I suppose the other option is to allow you to switch to knife through the weapon select (not even removing it from R3 that way you have the option of each). |

I know people like knifing a lot but couldn't we just bash people with the butt of our guns? Or use the barrels as blunt s if they are too large? |

The control layout for melee is at question here not the actual melee attack itself. |

Oh Lord, the number of times I have accidentally switched weapons when I want to fire... As I have aftermarket mods for my controller (a skin to increase friction and button extenders for the triggers, I tried but didn't like the thumbstick extenders), I can totally understand why they didn't put the fire button on one of the triggers though. |

I'm the other way around. I tend to let off a few rounds into a rock when I want to change weapons ^^ |

Sometimes I wish there was a way to remap the PS3 controller. I find myself knifing when I intend to aim, helplessly trying to adjust from Ghost Recon FS. I'll say that it's my skills that will suffer in the end, having to learn a new controller scheme for every original FPS/TPS. |

I think would be a good Idea make anything like this on the game, when you wanna to change weapons.
Imageshack link
this should only affect weapons and not other items like nanohives.
I say this because on middle of combat I find hard to choose fast a secondary weapon like an SMG or pistol, this way allows to do it and can work with the actual way to change between them. |

They're mentioned that controller remapping WILL be in the final game.
I'm looking forward to it, but probably won't change too much. |
