This bug is still present and just as frustrating. I'm also going to report this again to the bug system. CCP this is a major problem with the game if we can't get into a battle and would seriously look bad once the PS+ people try this game. Please, fix this issue ASAP. |

Same here - stuck for 5 minutes and then have to reboot system. I reboot to clear the PS3 memory just in case. But yeah the bug is still there.
Damn.... STUCK AGAIN !!!! Even after rebooting - Quess I'll try again - But Quick Battle is definitely Broken.........
And The Third Time WASN'T A CHARM cause I'm stuck again - Not even halfway funny..... Please open the Battle Finder so that we can play some Dust. If not, will someone give me a call when we can play a game...... LOL, but not really funny.
The fourth time and I'm still stuck again..... I didn't have this problem until we were forced into using the Quick Battle Screen only, so maybe there is a problem between The Battle Finder and The Quick Battle programming... Sorry, it's just an idea of where the problem may be. Any other idea's ?? |

I can't et rid of it. Dust is unplayable until they fix it. I've even restarted my router and my PS3. I still get stuck on the screen. |

Confirmed here, need to PS button to close the game and then reload it to try to get into a new game. |

Now it just give me the "Waiting For Battle" box with the loading ring, then after a few minutes says "The Battle You Were Trying To Connect To Is No Longer Available". I'm all for testing this beta, but let me test teh gunplay and let someone else test the "Not-So-Instant Battle" system. |

Confirm, first stuck on waiting for battle, after relog, stuck on "Victory" screen. Looks like didn`t collect SP for match after I stuck.
Another relog and stuck on controller map screen when trying to join a battle using Instant batle. |

I went through 2 battles that got stuck at the end game screen third time I rebooted I'm stuck at the controller loading screen. Before the instant battle patch I didn't have a single problem. |

Seriously CCP, this is a MAJOR bug.
One game and now it won't leave the loading controller screen. At all.
And enough people are now saying the exact same thing to tell me at least that there is a serious problem. Its like the game install is corrupt or something because I've tried re-setting the PS3, router and modem, all to no effect.
Turn off the servers till its sorted. We can't give feedback to a game we can't play. |

I guess i will just have to wait until the game is released, just waiting for battle to load is a waste of my time, playing as well, but that gives me adrenaline, Watching full screen controller settings burns in to my plasma, so no thanks, will play something else.... |

Also getting stuck as well. One thing I can think of is maybe they are trying to connect us to an overseas game and its loading time is way to long. Only a guess though. When I was able to use the battle finder instead of instant battle i was able to load every time, because I would choose a US game because I'm in the US. |

Multiple attempts = crap. Battle Finder (regular) only shows an ambush that says something to the effect of " use Instant Battle Finder, we swear it doesn't suck eggs".... |

Same here.
1 game out of 25 tries, 5 hard freezes needing full system restart. Very aggravating when one only gets 6 hours between 2 days of the 4 per week to play. |

I've tried the following to fix the problem:
Reboot the PS3
Delete Dust514 and reinstall.
Neither work, I haven't been able to join a game since the precursor update.
The game sits at the controller screen with loading animation looping(not frozen). I have left it for ~30min once.
Requires resetting the PS3 or quitting to menu to do anything on the PS3. |

batlefinder is doomed!!!!!!!! yeah same here, booted up, checked the skill tree after wipe, tried to find a batle but got a message to use batlefinder, found a batle but got stuck on a loading screen. tried twice, shame as the nnew download pics look sweet. |

Well, I'm off to watch a movie and come back again later. Stuck again and again on the controller loading screen for a battle. I was able to play one battle after I downloaded the new patch and got stuck on the defeated screen after the match. I have been getting stuck on the controller loading screen every time since then.

Yeah tried it several times, both teamed up with my friend and solo. Before i teamed up with him I didn't get this bug, but ever since i tried i have not been able to start a match. Think i t has something to do with premade teams.
Also i've noticed that if the Battle Initilizing screen populates with players before the load screen, it will go through fine, but if it doesn't and goes straight to load, it gets stuck. Just more info to help the dev's isolate the problem faster |

Just attempted to delete and re-download. Issue not resolved.
Issue occurs whether or not players populate in the menu before switching to the load screen.
Tested on two different networks to eliminate a NAT based issue or other network errors from my end.
Currently DMZ'd my PS3 to ensure no port blocking. This hasn't resolved the issue.
Attempting to use a different PS3 console in the event my Gen 1 console is the issue. Who knows.
I heavily agree with WILLMA-DUST Gauss's statement earlier, this is a BETA! If it even works then cool. If it doesn't, you were warned!
The point is debug and assisting the developers, engineers, coders, and all involved make a great end of the line product.
Ranting at them won't help a bit (;

They probably have to leave it up so they know what it does and what conflict errors they are getting as we try to log into the game 8) thats why there doing this now before the 21st when they have more player load. And also probably the reason why we have not yet had a dev reply. there probably looking at the forums as there working on the problem but dont reply because there trying to fix it 8). Everyone take a deep breath go play a different shooter for and hour and come back and try again.
At least we don't have to worry about losing anything lol. |

singularity is only letting dusters play on it. and hence its off the scale PCU count |

still b0rked for me about 90% of the time.
The freeze happens on the battle initializing screen much of the time. When it isn't stuck there, it is stuck elsewhere.
I haven't detected any real pattern of when it works/doesn't because it doesn't work so often that I don't have any ability to figure out what I did differently (if anything I do matters at all) :) |
