The new restock fitting is so broken it's bordering on unusable. First time I used it in this build, I did the usual and set it to 20. It took half my money which I just after the fact. Just test with multiple fittings sharing some or many of the same modules, it's hard to see how this can be on purpose and it's hard to see how this could have slipped by QA. Either way, it makes little sense. It seems to restock all fittings and not just the current one, but it hard to make sense of what it's trying to actually do.

The new restock adds the number shown, not the total. So if you restock five then five full sets will be added to your current number. Meaning, if you restock 20 you are not restocking up to a 20 total, but are adding 20 full builds to your current total. Do you understand? |

Yes, I realize that's how they planned it to work, but the thing is that it restocks items you don't even have fitted on the current suit. If it just worked like you claim, it wouldn't be a problem and the price would be managable. |

This is particularly broken with AUR items. I decided to play around with some AUR grenades during the wipe. I bought 100 of the grenades from the market. Then I realized the fitting I wanted to use with the grenades only had about 25 spawns left. So, I went to restock to bring it up to 100, and I ended up spending another 500 AUR on more grenades.
If this new restock feature only affected ISK that wouldn't be horrible, not great, but not horrible. However, they way it works with AUR items basically means I would have to go into the market and individually purchase everything in a fit with AUR items, so that I do not spend AUR unnecessarily. |
