I keep trying to play as Logistics, but every downed Merc automatically suicides... Can downed Merc's get a notification that there's a medic nearby so they don't just suicide? |

They have a notification. There's a red text at the top of the screen telling them that there's a medic nearby. Although they have no way of knowing how far away said medic is, or if said medic is even moving towards him. |

Thanks Bendtner92, good idea. At least a radial icon that says the distance would be a great help. |

it doesn't help that everything gets tinted red when you are bleeding out
If it looks like you're running full rep/nano/injecters I've found that people take notice and wait a bit longer |

It's hard to know. But what drives me crazy is why suicide when you get all the time off your respawn. There is literally no downside to.waiting. maybe the respawn timer counting down should show up when you go down so they can see how much longer to wait untill the 8 seconds are up before suicide. Right now you have to count in your head. Ccp please tell the.player his respawn timer when down. |

Part of the problem is that too many Logi's are too busy hanging back. And FFS, throw 1 hive/uplink as soon a you spawn. We'll use it if we need it. I also think that logistic guys are gettin slaughtered by heavies, because tere are too many Logi! I've been revived twice already this build and revived someone too! The writing does help, but red is the wrong colour for a medic... Neutral colour text, and perhaps them being highlighted on the minimap. It's already much improved, and unlike many games, the HUD display doesn't get in the way of what you're shooting at. |

If it looks like you're running full rep/nano/injecters I've found that people take notice and wait a bit longer Take it a step fufthur. Let the player look around while downed. make it feel like you are still alive but your suit is broken and can't move. But you can still look around.
And maybe when you press the help button your character should limp on to his knees and try to signal. Would an optiona flare gun usable white downed
Guildwars 2 does this actully.dust should do something similar including being able to give death blows. So while they down you have a finish him action. Are |

It is very difficult to stay alive as logi, so best to stay back unless the group is moving. I think most are waiting for revive, so most do not bleed out. But even then like you say the text is still hard to read. Maybe the text should be yellow.
They did a bit to improve logistics this patch, but there's a lot more to be done. I am thinking they are treating it like in MMOs where there is a tank that takes the damage, and healer (logi) are in the back supporting the group. This isn't regular MMO so there should be no reason why their armour and shields are not same level as at least assault drop suits.
I agree with being able to look around. Certainly would help make it much easier to see if a logi is near by or maybe they can put them on radar. Only way I know if me or some one is being revived is by the injector sound.
And the bigger maps are more difficult to get to people when they are down. I wonder if CCP can give more time for revive on certain maps. |

a white cross should be on the radar indicating that he is doing the medic job. You can also try out the scout suit with a injector. Helps you reach downed mates much faster. |

its not the logis fault tbh the logi suit stamina should be much higher, he gets tired very fast and is very squishy
its sad when my standard assault suit is just as good as my advanced logi suit..... |

That is what I am thinking too. So far I see more assault people with nanite injectors than logistics people. I still think they should make nanite injector only for logi. |

People are starting to take notice of those of us with injectors. It's just seems so damn hard to stay alive long enough to actually reach them though. |

I choose not be revived most times, why, because of the fact that the medic is alone, and not able to deal with the 4 guys who killed me, add to that the few seconds it takes for someone to be popped up by a medic leaves you completely vulnerable to everyone and because you will probably be dead twice. |

The other thing to remember is most people are used to pushing the circle as soon as there down. Gotta give people time to adjust.
In the 2 months I have actively played the beta I have been revived twice. Once in the old build and once in this build. So it is getting better. |

i am almost always a medic in games. every game from shadowrun to battlefield because most people do not do it. i find more fun in game filling in the holes that most player do not play. i try and do revives all over the place but usually the person suicides right as i get there. i also like a fast scout medic so that i can get to people in the open and it expands your area and increases your chances of getting to them before they die completely. the logistics suit is too slow to be effective for anything other than a squad sticking close together. in that case it would be great. |

Really wish it was easier to use the Nanite Injector in the first place.
You people realize how much hell I have to go through circling your corpse trying to find your genitals with which I have to stab the injector into? All while dodging bullets???
Don't suicide when I'm running around like a chicken (innuendo here) with it's head cut off trying to pry your pants down in order to get you back up on the field.
EDIT: For clarity I'm talking about the magic "Press R1 to use nanite injector" sweet spot which is hidden sometimes due to corpse location on the map's elevation. |

I'm planning to do the same thing. My Heavy HMG build just doesn't cut it, but with an increasing player count Logi might be the way to go. |
