Tanks: Not sure what the plan is here, to make all tanks the same? As I've said in another thread, give the dmg bonus back to the Marauder, but tie the dmg bonus to the level of skill trained, similarly to how it works in eve. Just 5-10% per level. Right now the investment in skillpoints and ISK just isnt worth it. A Soma and Sica should be NO MATCH for a Maruader that is well fit. While it is still possible to kill them one on one, it is very close, leaving the determining factor to swarms and OP forge guns. A Maruader should be a formidable opponent that requires teamwork to take down, which was why people had such a hard time against them before. When working together Maruaders from the previous build would go down fast. As in real life, there are Shermans and then there are Panzers.
Dropships: I like that the controls have changed, but not the physics. They don't seem to match that type of vehicle. The main problem I have with them is that they are constantly moving forward, making extraction near impossible. Its like flying a blackhawk with elephant feet. The main purpose of these vehicles is primarily to pick up and move mercs around the battlefield and provide light air support, right? Keep the controls, and bring back the E3 physics but make them slightly more agile.
M/KB support: took alot of tweeking of settings but I got these to work sorta ok. Turn rate is still an issue, especially on tanks. I move the mouse 5 inches, cursor moves about 2 meters on the screen, at max sensitivity. For running and gunning it is acceptable, but not so much for vehicles. Especially when I tried to use my armor reppers on the tank, they could not be selected and turned on, forcing me to pick up the ds3 and turn them on. I immediately went back to ds3. Also have ot use the ds3 to select a spawn point.
Crashes/Freezes: It seems that it crashes and freezes anywhere any time. I played for 3 hours this morning, and had to restart the console multiple times.
Explosives: Grenades and mass drivers still disappear and fail to explode. Have died multiple times due to this.
Squads: Size should not be limited. It is probably limited to keep orbital strikes from being abused. Just make it so as the number of squad members increases, the requirement to call in a strike increases as well. If I wanna put together the super stomp'n'roll team, I should be able to.
UVT: Get rid of this KITTEN. It should be a feature, not a nickel and diming of the players. Remember moniclegate?
