In order to talk to more than 3 of your friends at once you have to buy one... Not only that all your friends have to buy one as well..... What a crock

I'll go back to using skype/C3 if thats the case, just seems like a weird work around for something that should be free in game.

We all purchased it to see if it works while we are in diff games and it works.. we created a channel and all that. Just sucks you have to pay to do that when the grouping is so small

Also its not for what we think it is, Theories are that its for the PS Vita to communicate with them, also to communicate with other players not in your corp/clan or current group. As of right now, you can do all of this with out using the VT.

Ok, so imagine this. I am a spy in your corp. We have group chat and corp chat for free (we will) and I want to tell my real team that your corp is about to attack or defend something. But I can't just talk to you with out a ... yup thats right a VT to tell my team what to do.

Now do you see why we have VT's? Its all about the spy game, not the main game.

Eve is a lot about the personal game. Politics, backstabbing, theft, spying, and negotiations are part of the world. You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but this is what Eve players have turned the universe into. CCP, while they don't plan for this, enjoy the sandbox concept of letting the players do what they want.
