i had this problem with the previous build too, i was hoping it to be fixed.
my playstation can recognise my Mic but dust 514 just doesnt work.
and yes i know about PTT now |

Some people have been having a lot of trouble getting the bluetooth headset to work with this build. Is that what you use? |

i use a wired headset. i had a bluetooth but it got lost

push to talk now. You can turn it off in either general or audio settings, not sure which. |

It seems to me turning off PTT in the Options at the bottom doesn't work. You have to turn it off in the Chat Menu (select).
Also check your accessories tab in the PS3 Menu, make sure it's setup correctly for the wired mic. Then make sure you have all the options turned on in DUST. |

I am having some issues with my friends too. One game all mics work. Next one of us can not talk but we do hear. Next game no mics at all. I use a Triton wired. One of us uses the ps3 bluetooth.(came with Socom I think)
Early afternoon we had no issues 3 games straight. |

Make sure your mtu setting is maxed out, its in the internet connection settings......
I was getting zero comms then I noticed my mtu was set to minimum so I maxed it and then all comms worked fine, whichever bluetooth or USB device I use.... |

you have to manually enable chat in comms now, highlight the squad window and press (X) and you have an option to turn it on for squads.
Also notice that push to talk doesn't function in squad chat for some reason. |

My bluetooth is only working when push to talk is "off". It worked for a bit at the beginning of this build with push to talk "on"-but ever since then it is perma muted when push to talk is "on". Bluetooth works fine with push to talk "off". |

in this build = Sony Official 7.1 headset --> Mic is not working.. I can hear other people but they cant hear me.
my "green light" does not flicker in my chat window wjhen others do while talking.
Chat and mic works outside dust ok
Last build it helped when I changed usb port.. but now no help from that. |

Had a similar issue this morning, dust recognizes the mic, and the sound icon appears on the screen, but never turns green when i try to talk. I can tell my headset is working, but the sound just isnt being transmitted through dust. I also didn't hear anyone else with mics on, so maybe it's a big bug? I use Turtlebeach px5's |

if its not abled we would not hear either.. problems been with not able to speak.
BUT!
I got my mic to work -->
Rebooted ps3, changed usb port, unplugged Move. Updated ps3 firmwire to 4.21, manually checked that mtu? from internet connections (ps3) that it was 1500.
So some of those thing or few together did the thing for me. Hope it stays and this might help some you too :) |
