Really, charge $20 to get into the beta (that has TONS of problems) and then halve the price for PS+ members.
Charge for ingame chat.
Pay to win with AUR items.
What next?
It's a beta that has 1-2 months until completion and CCP is allready milking it like EA.
Really. I have very little faith in this game.

I have never felt like i ever needed to spend real money so far.
If it makes you feel better to spend $60 on a game, just by $60 worth of AUR or something.
If you have specific bugs that you have problems with, go post it in the tech support section. If you have feedback about the beta, please post it in the feedback/requests section. Make sure to post specific issues instead of just "tons of problems" |

I haven't paid a thing for this game (beta) and I'm doing just fine. This is only phase 1 of the patch so I'm pretty sure there'll be ISK variants of the Universal Voice Chat thingamajig, just like what happened with the repair tool and if there's not, I'll just use mumble, teamspeak, C3, skype or one of the dozens of other options. |

"pay to win" is the modern pay model.. all games are going over to it. you can play for free or you can fork over cash like an adult. just because your monthly allowance from your parents won't cover your pay to win strategy doesn't mean your entitled to a free ride anywhere.. if you want to flex your epeen with the rest of the elitists and need a crutch to do so then STFU and pay. the devs are not making games as an after school hobby they're adults that need to make a living. a lot of adults spend more on breakfast than they do to pay to win some free to play game.. we used to spend $20 a week on spy hunter in the 80's and street fighter 2 in the 90s, so what entitles you to such a free ride when we've spent thousands in the arcades |
