I think I heard that CCP confirmed that you'll be able to wander the War Barge in the full game. There probably will be other social areas as well. No sure if we'll get any joint Dust/EVE ones, though.

Yeah, I saw video of the Jita Riot, that was crazy. EVE players kinda worry me. |

Soon(tm)
And by soon I mean 2014 or later or something to that effect.
The point is, CCP did mention during their Fanfest 2010-2011 keynotes that social areas in which Dust mercs and Eve capsuleers get together are part of the road map. But no one made any promises as to when we might see that. |

I hope they get that going sooner rather then later like summer of 2013, also weren't the jita riots abut the 70 real dollar monocle? |

I'd actually like to eventually see Dust characters able to use another client and fly spaceships, and EVE chars on the ground. Perhaps having dual training queue systems active at the same time just to keep things simple.
A third client that can do manufacturing or more social non-combat stuff would be interesting also, with perhaps a more MMORPG feel to it. The everyday citizens aspect of New Eden. Basically the place EVE and Dust players can look down upon in contempt of their Care Bear ways, yet secretly enjoy from time to time. |

I don't know if being a dust merc has the same requirements as a capsuleer. |

Quote:People have been shocked by the price range in the NeX store, but you should remember that we are talking about clothes. Look at the clothes you are currently wearing in real life. Do you have any specific brands? Did you choose it because it was better quality than a no-name brand? Assume for a short while that you are wearing a pair of $1,000 jeans from some exclusive Japanese boutique shop. Why would you want to wear a pair of $1,000 jeans when you can get perfectly similar jeans for under $50? What do other people think about you when they see you wearing them? For some you will look like the sad culmination of vainness while others will admire you and think you are the coolest thing since sliced bread. Whichever it is, it is clear that by wearing clothes you are expressing yourself and that the price is one of the many dimensions that clothes possess to do that in addition to style and fit. You don't need to buy expensive clothes. In fact you don't need to buy any clothes. Whatever you choose to do reflects what you are and what you want others to think you are. |

You can do that, it's called dual boxing.

Oh dear god, I remember that. That was the straw that broke the camels back and started the Jita Riots back in 2010. |
