Okay, so I heard that a character wipe is coming on August 21st. I believe I chose the wrong bloodline or main skill that I wanted or something like that, but I never wanted to delete my character after all the kills I wracked up. So, if I delete my character on August 20th, then on the beta weekend after that, I will get to start over and make a new character and have all of my Mercenary Pack stuff reimbursed? And also keep the dragonfly dropsuit? And maybe get the new Skinweave one? (I don't remember if I got on in that time.)

You don't have to erase anything. CCP does it for you. You will need to create a new character, new name, etc. Then you will need to select what stuff you want them to get from your Merc pack. Takes all of 5 mins.

Also, Minmater, while the best race in the game, is overly dependent on duct tape. This is fact. Accept it. We Minmater know the way to a woman's soul is through guns and duct tape. Also, it holds our ships together. |

The Caldari always seemed like America on steroids but many have Japanese names so must have been a US/Japan alliance at some point.
Gallente are definitely French origin.. just look at the names of their leaders.
Amarr look kind of Italian so yah.. Roman Catholic extremists
Minmatar.. pretty easy to figure that one out. |

Um... You do know that state corporatism and the use of conglomerates as leadership or political leaders has never existed in the US, right? They are the associated with Developmental states like 1930s Germany, 1960s Japan, 1970s South Korea,and in a smaller sense what is predicted for post Communism Chinese devolopment. The US was never in a developmental state proccess and has been very hard on the forming of conglomerates and the dismantaling/reorganizing of corporations they see as having too big a monoply. Samsung, Sony, Hyundai, these kind of conglomerates are not allowed to exisit in the US. Not to the extent of the EU, but that is a different story all together. The US has more in common with the Gallentes "Freedom or Death" kind of mentality and the Caldari are more of the Development States that never trasitioned into a more Democratic nation state. |
