Hello all;
One thing I have noticed with dropships is that thestrength you to have to press the R1 button to move upwards is actually kind of ridiculous. I feel like I am trying to break my controller to lift off.
The pressure sensitivity threshold should be lowered. For the longest time I was pressing R1 and had no idea why I wasn't lifting upwards. Then I realized I needed to try to crush the button in order to go higher.
Its a minor thing but I would rather not wear out my buttons on my DS3. If you could lower sensitivity levels on it that would be great. |

If your referring to initial take off from the ground, i find that if you go for a more angled lift off, as opposed to straight up, you should'n't have much of a problem, but i agree, i would like a faster take off from the ground.
As for getting more altitude while already in the air, i find if im not going up i just let go and push R1 again, second try i usually start going up pretty quick |

Er, just wanted to say R1 has two settings: pushed and not pushed. Pushing it harder to make it do anything is either wasted effort or you are using a damaged input device.
As for going up, tilt back a bit so that the thrusters are pointed straight down and don't hit R1 til you have gained control. |

Not damaged. Tried 3 successive controllers and all used the same level of pressure sensitivity. You need to really push the R1 button to achieve vertixal lift. |

L1 is lift, L2 is drop. R1 is for activating your equipment, and R2 is for selecting your equipment. Unless of course the controls have changed over the last week.
I have the same issue. Unless I really push it hard it's impossible to even reach the altitude of the top of the towers let alone getting above the mcc..
Currently L1 is pressure sensitive, I would prefer a toggle. |
