So at least twice that I'm aware of players have been given bonus ISK and SP (the two times I know of amounted to 1 million of each on both occasions). My question is when the game comes out will we lose those and all the ISK and SP we have earned so far. I understand if we do, but at the same time I got into the beta by buying the mercenary pack on the playstation store. People like me may feel miffed that we basically paid to play this game early and are losing all our progress.
Sorry if this is addressed somewhere, but some people may not know either, or may not have thought to ask. |

Ok well unless they have stated elsewhere that they will leave names this wasnt the case last patch.
The chars were completely wiped so you couldnt even get on the forums until after you had created a character in the game.
So heres what going to happen-
Game servers offline
Your char will be wiped.
Forums will be 'down'
Game Servers will go up
Create a completely new char
Re-register on forums
Claim/receive your Merc packs, Aurum etc
Rage/Quit (jk) |

I'm pretty sure our characters will be safe, just all our skillpoints and isk gone, and they'll wipe all the aurum stuff and give us fresh merc packs again with full aurum
So your likes may be safe.  |

The last wipe removed char completely, They were using a seperate namespace then eve, this build uses eve's namespace. They said after the last wipe they wouldn't have to wipe names in future. They can, but don't have to.
We may or may not get the event isk/sp in new build, ccp could do it either way, think of it as a bonus if they let us keep it. Aur will be returned and merc pack items will be like when 1rst purchased. The fine print says they can substituent items of equal value, so at any time ccp feels toxin smg could become toxin shotgun. Or, the dragonfly scout could turn into a heavy suit. |

You "paid" (why people pay for a beta is beyond me) to get access to a beta of a game. Meaning an unfinished product. If you did not want your progress to be wiped from an unfinished product then you should have paid for a beta. |
