CCP you are advertising your game all wrong!

Advertise the game right so people wont come in expecting one thing and get slapped with a future military sim! One guy RE's a tank blast a shotgun to an enemies back! One guy wasting MD ammo trying to kill a drop ship. There was so much lone wolf in that trailer. MAG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48RMUK9aXl4 MAG trailer shows team work moving together showing that it's a team oriented game. If you are going to build a team based shooter shouldn't you advertise it as such? These advertisements make it look like COD with vehicles or BF3. When in reality it's turning out to be a military sim... Advertise the game right so you wont draw the wrong audience and get a bunch of pissed off people. I don't mind the team aspects of the game but some things need a lot of work! I actually would rather play a team based game than a lone wolf game. Do you know how hard it is to get me to play a TDM mode in any FPS? You would be better off trying to milk a elephant (if they can be milked), or stick your head in a crocs mouth than try to get me to play a TDM! Some things about your new patch I highly disagree with but I will test it before I say anything else on it. But please advertise the game as a team based shooter and not a lone wolf game.

That trailer was shown 9 months before MAG was released. CCP is looking to release Dust by the fall... As a matter of fact was the trailer I saw that made me get into the MAG beta!

I definitely would love to get a lot of teamwork oriented people in the game, as long as they are not expecting 5% of it being vehicles.

W T F where do i even begin to pick apart this lolpost....... 1. Future military sim.....dafuq are u even gettin that vibe from when playing DUST? u playin a different build or some? 2. Pointless comparing MAG ads to anything when MAG failed to attract and sustain a decent playerbase 3. The game is free its gonna draw the wrong audience regardless of how u advertise it because ppl can just go the the PS store and dload free of charge 4. ALL games that have 1 Team vs another Team are team based i dont get why ppl think why a certain game isnt team based. Like it or not CoD is teambased, BF3 is teambased the problem is not the game itself but the PEOPLE that play it being RANDOMS....vast majority of randoms dont care to work with some random stranger that just happened to be on their team and that is true for ANY game. DUST beta up to this point has had little to no teamwork as well because u playing with a bunch of randoms....MAG had little to no teamwork as well with randoms U can advertise the game however u want doesnt mean advertising as a "tactical team moving together shooter" will make the actual PEOPLE play the game differently...thats why u have clans/corps

Try blur dots listened though, and we got the transports out faster than my clan platoon led by Judges. I am the awesome leader. I simply need troops who are reasonable with a gun. This only happened once in 2 years. That sums up how bad randoms are in general. There's a lot of randoms in this beta :D (subtle, I know).

What video were you watching? I watched that whole video and saw nothing but team work. Groups of players and tanks fighting beside each other. I saw a smart player use a RE to destroy a tank and a MD blowing up a dropship. All good and fun things to do in Dust. Also they are showing the aspects of the game that will appeal to the largest group of players. That video is what made me want to play Dust, so did it do its job. Yup. Also like everyone else, ITS BETA you and I have no idea how this will play out, but you think you do..
