First off, let me give a little information. I was bored of playing Skirmish ALL the time, and every time I tried playing Communications or Biomass, I ended up running into RE throwers and quickscopers. So I looked farther down the list and found 1 person had queued for Plateaus on Ambush.
Since I figured more people would join, I queued up myself, but the game started with 2 players on the enemy team and just me on my team. So I decided to pass a little time while waiting for some people to join mid-game, and ordered an LAV that I had rarely used. So I start racing around the map, right past the idiots that thought they could kill my LAV with a few shots of their ARs, and then the enemy grabs an LAV and starts racing around the map trying to chase after me, shooting at me with the mounted missile launcher.
And I have to say, this was one of the most fun experiences I've had in Dust so far. And apparently, driving an LAV without hitting a Lamp-post (capitalized because They are gods) is a skill, because that guy just couldn't catch up with me the first half of the game. Unfortunately, more people joined mid-game and started ordering HAVs and eventually destroyed my LAV 
So I fitted up a new LAV with some light chassis mods to increase speed, but alas, no enemies took up the chase and followed me around. So I'm thinking a Death Race game mode with LAVs. Anyone else up for it?  |

Death race with LAVs actually sounds like a fun way to make some isk through betting or getting on the track |

I suspect it'll be an option once they introduce arena matches in 2013. I want a Roman chariot race arena! |

dust racing should be a sport.
There should even be maps just for death racing. Just for fun the other day I was drawing up racing hover craft for dust :P Kinda like those things they fly in the battle of hoth. Not quite jets but would be amazing for racing :P |
