Hello Dust Merc's and CCP staff,
The game is turning out great and I'm very happy to see so many merc's involving themselves, to make the game that much better. As a proud Merc of the Gallentae Federation I would like to have some improvements for the logistics support class and Grenade warning indicators. I play as a medic, ammo resupply, drop suit, and vehicle armor repair; with a kick ass "hydra" shotgun. The awesome thing about being the support class is that I'm able to fulfill so many needs all at once. The real challenge however is being a medic, which is where my issue lies. When i found out i can revive others with the nano injector i got all excited, but i am hardly able to use it since when people die they immediately commit suicide, or i have to kill someone so that it is safe to revive. Unfortunately when i go to revive them it is too late. My suggestion for improving the issue is to have a re spawn system similar to battlefield. When one dies they go to the spawn screen and 5-10 seconds is put on the clock. When the clock hits zero one is able to spawn, and only when someone spawns am i not able to revive them. Doing this will greatly optimize my and other merc's support capabilities. This would not cause imbalance since logistics are not combat oriented and my points always come from support, which very few merc's play as. Now since I'm usually close to teammates making sure they have what they need, and when an enemy gets close i put a few plasma shotgun rounds in their head. So a lot of the time people throw grenades into the fray instead of themselves. Sadly i never know when they do since i can hardly see the damn thing and there is no warning indicator or sound, and when it goes off I'm dead. It would help all of us if there was some kind of warning, such as being able to see the grenade, someone yelling that a grenade is nearby, or better yet an arrow pointing in its direction, so i can run like hell away from it. Finally the in game point system which is quiet good actually but i would like to have your total points on the player screen instead of just kills. The scoreboard is like teenagers and hockey, its all about who scores the most goals, when it is more like whose the best goalie, offense-men, and defense-men. Total point score have more prowess then kills over deaths, but kills are still a major factor.
Alright I'm done and thank you reading. I hope it was insightful and will spark new ideas to make the game better for myself and others. Mind the grammatical error's.
sincerely, Cpt Luke H
