I want the small one, but the big one seems to be coming. The in between lav and hav version would be easier to balance I assume. Also less people would complain about small. I vote small one first, large one can come later once small one is balanced/meta has adapted to it. This would also give a progression for walker pilots. CCP probably has some plans for them already set though. So if poll goes one way and CCP the other, it may be due to work already done, so no reason to complain they didn't care what fans/testers thought.

I would be all for quick-time combos for tearing turrets off of tanks with an MTAC's manipulators. Interruptable when taking sufficient damage.
MTACs should be a vehicle, and only one size class. Progression could be done through variants and specializations. |

So which way do you vote small vehicle thats smaller and weaker than a hav or large dreadnoight like thats bigger than a hav? |

Not only are there different opinions, it seems like the suits in EVE lore have way too much variation to be a single class.
Since vehicles seem to be more rigid within their classes, this plays into MTACs being an extension of the dropsuit tree.
I also like the "bracing" idea that was posted. This is a great way to balance the larger suits by forcing them to stop when they fire an arm-type that's at the limit of their ability, like the Cannon Arm on the larger types.
Credit where credit is due, but i'm incorporating this into further suggestions.
I hate adding to an already-long OP, so i'll put in MTAC variations here:
>Small / "Utility" : about the size of Ripley's mech in Aliens. They can only use Light Arms that each fit one gun OR repair tool.
>Medium / "Mule" : about two times the size of the Utility. cannot use the Cannon Arm, and "braces" on using an MG Arm. Also uses Medium industrial arms, which require two of them to grab an LAV.
>Large / "Ogre" : The size of an RDV. These behemoths are slow, but it is still unwise to take this brute head-on. Uses MG Arms easily, and "braces" on using the Cannon Arm. Two Industrial Arms can rip a tank asunder or catch those dropships foolish enough to come close. |
