I just love the Scout suit and the ability to be all over the map, well simultaniously. The problem is that I'm getting really tired of the SMG, yes its great up close but thats it. I see so many targets that I could easily have picked off easily with a Creodon at a distance. So now I have to glose the gap and zig-zag over open ground and so on.
Have anybody tried a Scout suit with AR? Or will the CPU demand be too great, leaving no room for other stuff? |

I don't think this is quite optimal for that suit. An AR is used a medium range. That's where the scout should never find himself. Scouts are good at close range and excellent at long range. Medium is an instant death for a scount.
I'd reconsider this carreer choice... |

I don't use the scout suit that much, i had a fitting that would run around and capture stuff and run away but that's it.

In my opinion, an assault rifle and a scout suit aren't a good match. I've tried before and, while I managed to make a few kills, most of the time I got mowed down. Of course, that was when I first started. If you can make it work, more power to you. |

What you can do, its a bit out of the box is stack assault rifle skills, find the one with the longest range (Breach I think) and train light arms sharpshooting 5. Should give you a nice autosniper with a range most people would be surprised at. Means you going to have to sight on the AR which usually means death since hip firing got a serious buff. |

Just for the record. I'm quite good. Not to brag or anything, merely stating the fact. I had plenty of rounds yesterday with 25-32 kills and 4-5 deaths. This was with an advanced Scout suit and proto SMG. I will get the proto Scout suit today and things will improve.
When the game releases I reckon I'll always roll with proto gear as soon as its unlocked. So I hope to use a Creodon and a Proto Scout suit. I don't fear medium distance at all, with a shield extender on and 40 in shield repair I don't see myelf at a dissadvantage. I've played 2 rounds on my friends account which has a proto AR suit and a Creodon and I went 28-2 and 35-7, and most of those kills was in CQC, The ARs are in my opinion just as good as the SMGs in cqc provided that you have a good reload skill investment and a decent aim.
I hope by this to be as fast as any scout, like I really really like, and still have the cqc stopping power and long rang accuracy of the AR. The trade off is less CPU/PG available compared to a proto AR suit. I prefer speed. |
