So nice to see someone who starts the game and doesnt go all "MAAAAAAAAAAH THIS IS CRAP? BOUAHHAHAHDHZA-úDKZKD" 10 minutes after.
From what i've red so far, focus on getting at least your Type 2 Assault suit (caldari level 2). Dont try using proto AR for a while as you probably havent boost the linked skills to max their effect and see a real difference.
Go weaponry level 5, it will give you a +15% boost to damage of all handheld weapons. Also, electronics that boost the overall available CPU on a dropsuit is a top priority.
Also, try and boost your shield skills so you can take advantage of the very strong shield on the T2 assault dropsuit. It will prevent you from needing to skill armor stuff at first as a militia rep should be enough. Maybe throw in a CPU enhancer so you can use better shield modules.
Get demolition level 1 and use RE to boogie trap objectives. That will help you as you'll be able to get to cover while hacking a point. Will also come in handy to dispose Heavy even though you shouldnt get use to using them as grenades as next build nerf those RE pretty badly.
Use a simple scrambler gun as secondary weapon.
A good middle fit for me :
T2 assault dropsuit
enhanced shield booster enhanced shield recharger Any shield booster that will fit the last spot.
GEK Assault rifle or Breach advanced version depending on your taste Scrambler pistol (maybe try the burst model) Grenades Remote exp
Militia armor Repairer CPU enhancer if needed. If not, throw in a militia plating or anything you like.
Then, take time to upgrade AR sharpshooter, and go AR level 5 and start AR proficiency skill. Try to move to a more advanced suit as late as possible. T-2 are very good if you play well. That way, You should build up a decent amount of ISK that will come in handy when you'll use more expensive armor etc. |
