I dont know if its just me but i mostly see heavy's with forgeguns running around or some other fancy stuff. Im getting fed up to grind trough their armor for ages till they drop. This is also a reason why ive got rid of the large missile launchers on my HAV and replaced it with a proto large blaster turret to simply kill them faster. So tell me why are there assault dropsuits when every 1 has a heavy suit and got the upper hand in gunfights? Do you experience this aswell at the moment? |

the heavy proto is god on biomass. it's like fightn freakn robocop. i dont see them as having much advantage on plateau. you have to chip away at their armor with 3-4 reloads, and keep your range and utilize alot of cover. this is how a heavy should be IMO, god at CQC and gimped at range which it seems to me is how they are.
does anyone else have Team Fortress 2 flashbacks when heavy is being healed by a logi? just be glad the logi cannot make the heavy invincible for a short time like the medic does on TF2.
also dropships are not over powered when the heavies pull out their forge guns.. if they nerfed the FGs they would have to also nerf the dropships, and that's what happens when stupid companies (EA) start nerfing everything with no foresight- they cause an avalanche of more nerfs from the single one that didnt really need nerf in the first place, they make the mistake of listening to ppl saying the sky is falling when their match was simply unbalanced, because they all decided to spawn as snipers or what not
i hate loosing dropships but my enemy also hate being killed by one, SL a joke against a tanked drop ship, the only thing that can counter another dropship is a FG. but when heavies all roll FGs i think the opposing ground force suddenly has a slight advantage, tho there are those heavies who've mastered killing infanrtry with FG, it's not really ideal for it. |

Heavies are far from unkillable.
And if you're in a HAV, of course you'll see people pulling out heavy fits.
Your HAV is scissors. Their assault fit is paper. Their heavy fit is rock. |

Weird because I run around in a Heavy with upgrades and get dropped in 2 seconds buy people with subs and people with shotties like the magical Zero Avis lmao. |

Mark 2 which I'm sure is still not that great. I still don't see how I can pump almost a whole chain in from a heavy and na assault live and shoots me dead in 2-3 shots from a shottie. |

Heavies are necessary to use the forgegun especially with all the vehicle spam. As far as people using them with ARs, the heavy suit is a crutch for unskilled players who don't yet have the skill to aim and strafe at the same time. Their turning speed is so slow that they are very easy targets at close quarters, I usually go right at them and get behind them then they can't turn fast enough to face me. |
