I don't understand what's taking them so long in the first place. My understanding was that CCP would be allowed to patch as much as they wanted, with very little restriction, according to the original agreement. |

The thing is CCP never did mentioned when exactly in August we were expecting to get the new build. This whole speculation is our own making as a player community. We just assumed without confirming. |

CCP has already confirmed th the new build is done and that they are waiting on sony. |

Well, since this game is still in "beta", I'm sure S@&Y is being a little more careful with it. Going over it a little more carefully than it would on the full release. Plus, the small things they tweak from week to week just go straight through. And there r things that get tweaked. That is the validation stuff u see at the begining of the load. It's not huge stuff.-á
And I'm glad that Wang told us about the submission to S@&Y. I dont know if I would have been brave enough. They should know how crazy we all are. There will be some S@&Y bashing going on here for several days.-á |

This is standard procedure for online ps3 games....... It has to be cleared seperately through the US psn and the EU psn,, and Sony are VERY particular about what can be updated or offered through the store.
Advice to those of you new to the PS3 (which is seemingly a lot of people)-- get used to this, it wont change-- the ps3 is a rather unstable system when it comes to online games, particularly mmo's (ask anyone that plays DCUO!) so they'll be checking everything to make sure its working properly....

Usually patches take about 1-2 weeks. Builds however, are much bigger. Especially this next one which integrates EvE and Dust together. Of course it'll take a while. August 21. |

I'm guessing you came here to get your xbox/microsoft troll on right? I'm never buying a xbox again in my life. I had the first big as xbox that was like a big as dash wash that I couldn't move from my living room with out multiple human's help. I had the xbox 360 which broke from the ring of death disease and had them fat as overrated controllers. 360 controllers are horrible for sports games. They only playable for games like halo and are uncomfortable for games like nba 2k or madden. I like playing on my ps3 console for sports and shooting games. PS3 is where I can get both without my sports games feeling like halo with two big as triggers on the top of my controller like a gun lol |

Yeah, I've been getting pi$$ed on by the psn for a few years now. It was the one thing I dreaded when I learned that dust was exclusive to it.-á
But everything has its demons, so to speak.-á
I firmly believe that the psn is heading in a better direction than it was. But it is still annoying.-á |
