ive been playin for awhile now, since like the begining of june and ive been looking forward to it since long before that, but the gameplay feels more like an unrefined version of Halo or unreal tournament (i know... unreal engine lol) most of the combat im in or see someone could be killed in like 2 seconds, the only reason they dont is because they cant land the shots, let alone head shots
i think it should be easier to land hits on people, but bullets should hurt alot less, i dont want people to be killed instantly by other infantry but i dont want very un organized un profesional strafeing and bullet dodge for nearly every scenario where 2 people are similar with gear and stats.... this game doesnt have the profesional/ hardcore feel in game that it does when u describe it or spend time lookin at **** in the merc quarters
i think they should lower the accuracy of most guns just alittle and change the reticle on the sights to a circle instead of a dot, if u played MAG with the raven faction you may learn that pin point accuracy with very little recoil can cause u to miss more shots than u land. this mostly aplies only to assaults with ARs but lets face it.... no matter what we do, that will be the bulk of the players, and like i sorta said, recoil needs to be much higher for just about every anti infantry gun because there isnt a single one that im even slightly bothered by even with no skills for said gun, more recoil would make AR operation more meaning full besides geting beter ARs
also i have to mention something to combat the argument of "that will kill the scout class!?!?" by saying that mobility of all the classes will need alittle work, such as a new jump system where just taping the jump button will do a low stamina cost hop in what ever direction your moving, and maybe a jump while crouched that will be a high jump that u dont get much speed with, or sprinting then crouching doing a slide or roll move, you wann talk realism? then dont let the term "mobility" and "evasive" mean walking back and forth and doing a full sized jump in random directions to dodge bullets... i call bullshit

when i first played the game it felt alot cooler in the sense that it feels like it took alot longer to kill some (most of the time) i know that was nearly all because of the hit detection but it made me feel like my defenses had a purpose other than absorbing an extra bullet.. i think all weapons should do universally less dmg to suits, or less dmg over all, but i dont want to have anything that would ruin AV capabilities. just sayin that my shield extender should protect against more than one bullet, i should actually fell alot safer if i put aton of effort into defense on any suit not just heavy, and with heavy u may think im hard to kill, but after i kill u (if i do) im most of the time hurt alot more than you would think and the only people that dont hurt me aton are scrubs or people that i just had a good positional/ situational advantage on |
