I'm curious to see how their going to do with this next build, as with us being put on SiSi I'm sure we will begin to see corps and grouping.

Until the MAG player's are able to group up, you won't hear much from them. Once grouping is enabled you will begin to see more and more clan's beginning to pop up. Other MAG player's are here testing out the beta trying to learn the concept of the game and will then share what they have learned with their incoming clanmates. But yeah, the MAG player's are currently in the ranks of the Dust 514 beta tester's paving the way for their clanmates.

There is no point in clogging up the entire first page with recruitment/circle jerk threads while the threads actually discussing the game get pushed aside. Once there is a designated section for clan/corp discussion, I expect a lot more thread activity.

Several MAG clans have already merged into bigger ones and I know there's at least one big alliance with 5+ big and solid MAG clans already formed. So we're definately here.

That's not counting the people that are using different names, instead of their psn. There is a forum for people without the beta and the recruitment section is filled with mag clans. I think even the zerg clans like KEQ and PRO will be a forced to be reckoned with. For anyone that doesn't know, PRO is the equivalent of goonswarm in mag.

Teamwork is based on the mentality of people, not the game they play. If someone is mentally a team player, playing another game won't change that mentality.

Teamwork is based on the mentality of people, not the game they play. If someone is mentally a team player, playing another game won't change that mentality. Agreed.. but MAG Players have been playing together in clans for years and know each others playing style. We didn't bounce from game to game. The clans are like family and in some cases we spent more time together playing then we spent with our real family.

Although I am dating the clans co-leader so if we really were family it would be a bit weird. The benefit of console games unlike eve is there is nothing to gain/lose joining a clan. People joined me in mag because they just enjoyed playing the game with me. No other reason, and after playing together for 2 years we are all pretty close, so tempting someone with money in dust is pointless for most clans because they'd rather continue to play with their friends than a complete stranger. I mean sure they can snag new members but I mean really new members don't have access to any integral corp function. Worst they can do is shoot us in the back, and good luck with that, cause I can shoot right back and my gun is WAY better than theirs.

MAG players will always be an important part of the game because we played for years on teams and we know that our clanmates have our backs. We know our jobs very well. One twig breaks easily when bent - but there are hundreds of us if not thousands coming into Dust and we will not bend or break. This game is about teamwork, something that we know alot about. A storm is coming. Are all of you EVE and COD players ready for it ?? We will show all how FPS teamwork rules...... Alway's remember " an avalanche started off as a snow flake". This is just the beginning of MAG players that will now hold the title of the Dust players. MAG was ruined by the neglect of its creators not the players. By neglecting the game it allowed hackers and glitchers in which slowly destroyed the game that we loved. I can't see CCP following the same path as Zipper because they care to much about their players and company. But from what i've seen they are involved which is more than we could say about Zipper. Zipper created a great game that to us will alway's be a classic, but they let the players down in the name of money and destroyed MAG through neglect. I can't see CCP following that same path. Ah, a MAG elitist. Get over yourself. We can't cause "we are that good"

They were the mag goons but more for the fact of being a massive lot, and frowned upon. Do love people who get so inmerse in a game that they trade in long term friendships and trust just to "win the game", what a sad group of people. They seem to have a lot to learn about people other than themselves.
