Jester is looking at CSM minutes and speculating about DUST contracts. Brings up a lot of questions.

The title of your post says "this applies to us" and the post itself is speculation. The title of the post is misleading. |

If you actually read the CSM Notes, you should note that a lot of things in there have changed a lot since they were proposed back in June. Don't take the CSM notes as fact or in any way immutable. Most of it has changed since. |

Jester makes for interesting toilet reading but, like anything else on EN24, it's just that. |

Posted it only as general background info, definitely not gospel. I prolly should have put a disclaimer on it.
The questions about how contracts will be implemented is still an open one, and in the end will matter a lot to DUST corps.
The best part of these articles is always in the comments section, and I imagined peeps who are not from New Eden might find the conversation interesting. |

Jester and many frustrated nullsec vets is what gives EVE its unique flavor, plus it drives the economy. They love anarchy and chaos and anything that proposes any form of new order is automatically labeled as threatening to their game. In a way this is understandable, EVE is one of the few games that embraces our darker natures and encourages us to openly admit: "I love griefing other people and all I care about is blowing stuff up." To some of this bittervets DUST is yet another attempt to limit their precious chaos. Fortunately, there are also those who see the big picture: DUST mercenaries will ultimately bring more chaos and destruction to the EVE universe, and there is no question that a good contract system is a necessary step to integrate those two games. |
