Yeah... Because 20k ehp, 1.5 damage mod, and the ability to repair your self every 30 seconds isn't good enough. I bet you want a cloaked HAV right? And swarm launchers shouldn't be able to lock because you have some techy jamming shizzle installed? Right? Yeah... I just hope you were trolling. |

No I hope they add Tech 2 of everything. Also tanks do not have 20k ehp. More like 10-14k. |

I'm not saying we need them now... But I expect to see Tech II tanks, and Advanced, and Proto tanks on release...
I was going to suggest that AT fits also need to be upgraded if that's the case, but I stopped and thought about it for a second... And once you add mines, ECM, Webifiers, Tech II Advance and Proto Dropships, and various cloaking technologies, as well as the ability for players to manually drop in structures, and build fortification and use higher tiered equipment... It becomes clear in that environment with Team Work, the current tanks are DEFINITELY just standard tanks, because they would be slaughtered in seconds in that sort of organized assault with all those traps sitting around.
I hate to have to say this, as it shouldn't need saying, but were talking about a game in which organized Siege and assault will be necessary, and when you have players who specialize in entrenchment, you will quickly find that we ACTUALLY WILL need better tanks and vehicles in order to break such strongholds... However, for now? In the BETA? With what little organization and resistance there is? Yeah... We're fine with the tanks we have...
Oh any anyone who things the OP or I am trolling? Look at the skill requirements for current HAV's its OBVIOUS to anyone who sees them that these are not the advanced or prototype models of tanks... |

Depends on how the skill bug on shield management / mechanics. I'm inclined to think that you are still getting the extra HP though it doesn't show on your stats. 5kshields on my Sagaris, +25% is 6250. 2*18% resists and a 14% damage controller. My tank is far from the best build, and cracks a healthy 13500ish ehp.
One day it'd be nice maybe. But I'd rather see APC's gunships, mine clearers (yes, the ones with the big metal chains) and mines for them to clear.

the shield and armor bonus from those skills does work, tested it the other day wit ha buddy it it works 100% positive. |
