I was wanting some advice on the proto assault dropsuit and whether it is worth getting?

Yes its worth getting, although the advanced does get the job done as well. |

i wouldnt upgarde to the proto suit until you have some of the better modules because the main diff between it and a-series is that it has a higher cpu and pg reserve. |

Well ther is 3 options
Tank - So as much extenders and armor plates as you want, recharges optional but the idea is to soak up as much damage as you want so your hard to kill
Gank - So damage modifiers and less tank, your easier to kill in general but your primary weapon has more power so you can put down ppl faster
Speed - Speed mods to increase your speed so you can zip around ppl
Then you can mix and match to how you play so gank and speed if you want or a bit of tank and a bit of gank, all depends on how you play |

Get the skills to use an Advanced well before moving on to Proto. The suit itself will give you more PG and CPU and on its own will only help you to survive maybe one extra bullet. It's only worth it if you train well beyond its minimum requirements. |

not worth in , unkless you have a ton of skills allready your support skills will make a bigger difference in battle |

Upgrade mechsnics and engineering first so u can get more out of every suit. Then go proto, then work on light weapon upgrade and its proficiency to get more CPU usage out of ur suits. It lowers light weapon CPU usage. There r also other things that lower CPU and PG usage. |
