I'm not if this has been mentioned or planned. Vehicles shouldn't be allowed to come in your spawn kill you, drive back out and keep repeating it. Numerous times I have seen vehicles killing defenders in their own spawn when they got pushed back. Battlefield have the right idea, you can't go past a certain point and even sitting behind that point you can't do much damage. |

Arbitrary rules are stupid.
If you are getting spawn camped its because your team is not very good.
WHen they fix the bug with spawns, spawning will be in a random area around the spawn and not in the exact same spot each time.

While I do agree that this is a crappy practice, I do not think that blocking HAVs out or making newly spawned soldiers invincable is a very realalistic messure for CCP to take. A better one might be just make each spawn point have four different outputs so that if an enemy is trying to camp one he will only have 25% coverage. After all, if real life if the route is being over run than you would just incert new troops the the flanks. All this is moot anyway, as CCP is alreay on top of this issue, but I hope CCP come up with a fair and tactical solution. Also, some people join in mid game and it is not really fair to join an already losing side and say that he sould play better. It is kind of out of his control at that point... |

Very true, it's just frustrating to join a game where your team is being baseraped (redlined) to no end. Of course it happened because the team was playing bad, but playing a game is still supposed to be fun, even if you're on the losing side. That's why the frustration that is generated by the enemy team camping your base should be reduced to a minimum. Overall map design and design of the main bases has a big impact on that, and the 'plateaus' map has obviously some flaws in that respect.

even with a good team i've seen the other team just rotate multiple dropships on the protected spawn insta killing everyone for the remainder of the match. If you dont have enough time to even pull the trigger it does no good even if you're the best team in the world. I know they're working on the issue but for now it does get very annoying when you have a team of no talent losers spawn killing like that. |
