This weekend's experiment is realtively pain free on the wallet and anyone can partipate.
Essentially if you are a high SP character how relevant are milita fits still with your SP skills taken into account in boosting its performance? Are you able to achieve near the same level of greatness in a milita fitted dropsuit vs a prototype dropsuit?
The two types are custom milita in which you can customize a milita only suit and default milita suits provided.
Post your High SP in free gear experinces. High SP would mean you spent at least 10million SP in making that one particular milita fit good.
As for my experince I stuck with defaults.
So far the default assault I have no problems matching my previous kill death ratios against people using protos and 'tier 2s'
Default shock remains an issue on killing vehicles of any variety brought to the field, I solely blame the swarm launcher itself. I also think this class is better suited to having a submachine gun as default secondary weapon instead of the scrambler pistol which every other class should be restrained to.
Default Scout and Logistics are not my cup of tea on game style thus i leave it better trained personel to describe thier experinces.
The lack of armor reppers on some defaults seems 'cheapened,' and very ineffective. I will be willing to live with this provided there is milita dropsuit gear in the future and able to customize a loadout however this also may confuse newer players about the lower health bar being un-repairable by self means. A careful balance must be struck between the two.
The one cross comm battle I been in as ambush type on comms was really funny killing protos with a milita assault rifle and hearing them complain about milita gear is OP. |

I have done this as well. It is harder to get kills when ur in a group and someone else I running a proto weapon. But, with all the skill upgrades and profs, the suits do well. I found that an assault A suit is a good medium. I still can carry proto weapons and still get 20-30 kills a match. I found I was getting lazy with the proto just charging folks. |

What would you consider to be "high" in terms of skill points by this point in the build? Unfortunetly unlike some people on here, and in-game I do not have as much skill points as they do. However I already use nothing above standard due to my own standards and beliefs. I feel higher gear is a bit of a cheap shot. I pretty much rock militia grade or standard. The only thing I will use above that is one weapon, but even then I dislike using it. Bugs me.
Still. What would you consider to be "high" in terms of skill points? I actually just broke eight million in terms of skill points actually. I'm hovering at about eight million two or three hundred thousand? Low eight million to be sure though. Which I would not even be that high if not for the skill points handed to us for partaking in some events. Oh well.. |

ive just hit 14 mill sp
as for malita gear the scout sniper suit comes in handy when i spot a proto sniper on a tower i usually spot them when they pop my assault suit so i spawn the malitia scout and snipe him out if i can but with the malitia rifle having limited zoom i got to use the icon above there heads to guid me due to draw distance
as for the malitia assault suit i cant do anything with it im not sure if its hit detection or what unless in a group even then its not very effective agaisnts higher suits due to the low armor/shields and RoF of the malitia rifle comapred to the proto credron (which i hate)
fed up of having proto suit nailed by 2-3 shots from the creodron breach so just use the adv model (well it feels like 2-3 shots i drop that fast)

8 million if you dedicated to things that help out the milita fit out is quite high imo. For example I have assault rifle profiency at lvl 2 and mechanics 5 and shield operations 5 which would make the vanillia miltia suit a wee bit deadlier. |

Rorek Ironblood every skill point you spent up to 8 million still using militia gear makes you better then majority of people using miltia gear with less points then you, depening on their specs
if your enemy does not have your skills like a fresh noob they will not have your abilities from cpu/pg to dps/dpb, your quest to be equal without any ``cheap shots``, to be true hardcore elite is not pos sible. The best you will get his at full release in Null Security where every corperations will use cheap to expensive fittings for strategy on a massive scale no fps has ever seen Art of War, shi^-+t Sun Tzu giggles. Gaining respect as EvE the MMO with its corps. |
