Much of it depends on what your expectations for it are. I hoped it wouldn't be absolutely teeth grindingly godawful and I was left disappointed.

Lesson learned: Films coming from videogames are usually terrible. Family boardgames worse.

Skyline (Worst modern high budget movie ever made...).

Actually after alien verse predator requiem the directors (something brothers) had to beg borrow and steal the materials to make skyline, simply because avp requiem was so terrible. The film was actually recorded in the directors apartment and nearly all the actors are connected to the directors personally. For the amount of money it took to make, it was actually a financial success. And really was a testimony to the skill of the CGE crew and concept artists.


I actually liked skyline, for the aliens. The characterisation was a joke and made no sense. Arguably it was "realistic" but that doesn't fly when your trying to write fiction.

The ending was total BS too.

The battleship movie had nothing to do with the board game. The directer had a movie they wanted to make and had to check some boxes with the studio before it would be green lit. it just so happened that if if wasn't a crap movie before then checking those boxes made it one.
