Anyone have any ideas i mean i cant really see how we get any salvage since all dropsuits disintegrate once beaten. So do all vehicles as well so i mean other than the dust i dont see what can be called salvage. Other than the MCC since it guess it just blows up instead. |

I have been thinking about this for a while. The only way I can see this even being realistic is if you can only keep what you have on hand with the clone you have alive at the end of the match. |

I can just see those mercs running around the battlefield with a broom and garbage bags full of dust, or some high tech variant of a broom and plastic bags, a dyson perhaps. No no se+¦or Commander, no fighting, must clean. |

I think it's going to be fragments of weapons and dropsuits that can be used to construct new BPCs. |

I think the lore says the nanobots eat away at the merc upon death to prevent enemy capture....
BUT, whatever they do, the only easily implementable salvage mechanic i see right away is hacked installations.
You take over a sector of a planet and salvage however many installations for friendly use, since those will stay constant on a map until destruction, even throughout multiple matches. |

Salvage
i see it like eve ships, when a ship explodes remains of modules not damage are dropped, these can be collected by the player that slayed you. repackages and sold on the market or re-used by the player if skills allow.
loot in eve is dropped items salvage in eve is using a module that scans a wreck ( killed suit/ship) any salvage found can be sold on the market and/or used by player to build new modules via manufacturing .
eve/dust Lore on death
All dusters have clone bodies that prevent them from ever truly dying. The clone reanimation unit (CRU) is a medical chamber that switches on the brainGÇÖs mechanism for self-awareness and self-sustained organ operation. It is not to be confused with the automated intensive care unit. This process is not started until personality and memory data has been uploaded into a cloneGÇÖs brain upon death. the transfer is instant.
this technology was handed down by the Jove's, our suits are from a sleeper design found by the Mordus Legion, using moddified Implants and looks to be a slight variation on current pod pilot clone technology. these implants that had not been modded turned the clones into crazed beings, with dreams of blood red writing, repeating the same thing over and over 514 514 514
