i had a great weekend in Dust 514. i was able to really get a good dropiship fit and pretty much own with it... one great little skirmish happened on top of a building , i was sniping with my dropship missile launcher and an enemy drop ship came to spoil my fun. dropped three guys on top of me... luckily i was back in the pilots seat and taking off as they landed, except one guy landed directly ontop of me while the other two on the tower... i was craking up as i tried to sweep my ship back and fourth to knock these guys off while one guy was on top dropping grenades... what an awesome visual...
something on my mind
-why can all my passengers fire their weapons? i understand i i prolly couldnt have a drop ship full of swarm launchers w/o blowing my own ship up, but why not have the other passengers be able to fire thier own weapons? maybe not give the pilot/passengers any assist points for these kills cause they are using their own weapons and skills.
-i would like a better indication of which dropship i ordered, i hate taking peoples nice stuff when i ordered a militia drop ship and they just landed right next to eachother.
- can we atleast have a foRward mounted blaster turret to make the FPV useful while flying, any small turret really and just have it solid mounted so it shoots where the ship is pointing.
some buggy things (in the dropships)
-missile graphic gets stuck when firing close to the edge of buildings(noticed on all the towers and the two big garage things in plateus
-missile aim is off center when you are near and aiming close to the border of an object
-missiles dont always show explosions
-My drop ship can go to 0% armor, and if my armor repairer is activated my ship wont blow up,will recharge armor and shields and i can still use the turrets, but i cant take off in the ship. it is able to be blown up after this ... just not flown away
-ive been knocked off of towers while in the turret spot and as the ship rolls over i am ejected, this happens a few times i can't always duplicate when this happens.
loving this game can't wait till its hooked up with space.... |

thats because structure i have noticed it on everything but there is not much there i have noticed my health turn red before when that happens |

Beneath armour is structure - the internals that are required for function. You have no way to repair that, and if it's broken, you're stuck, no matter how much armour you wrap around the broken parts. Not a glitch, just something the game doesn't explain very well. You get similar problems by somehow surviving 0% armour on your Dropsuit, the colour washes out, sound goes a little weird, and you stay that way even after repairing up - the body inside the suit is injured, so there's nothing much you can do. |

ahh, makes sense being an eve player, guess they left out a damage bar. ty

as far as my understanding there is only 1HP under all that armor and shield. this is why its not shown. you will die most times at 0/0 but sometimes you get lucky :) |
