Dust 514 Feedback
So id like to start by saying i am an eve player and have been playing from 2009. I started playing the beta 4 weeks back i did find it rather frustrating for the first 2 days or so but after getting some skills under by belt i started to enjoy it and in side a week i was having a lot of fun. now for the feedback i will start by saying that some of this may have been fixed already i dont know also there may be bits of it that others have already said i dont have time to read all the posts.
First the not so important stuff
- Turning on Reps is hard and should be easyer than holding down R2 moving the stick and then releasing R2.
- Intro Music; its nice track from eve but it should really have more energy to it to get people in the mood for fast action.
- Total cost of Fitting should be on stats or at least somewhere
- Ristances from mods should be on stats like in eve
- Damage multiplier from Dmg mods should show up on stats
- Remote Explosives; i feel are over powered vs soldiers
- Killing players that have got alot of kills and not died ie alot of the winning power of that there side should give extra points
- the sound of the assult rifle could sound better.
Now the important stuff
- Sometimes when turning HAVs the tank turns the wrong way i am telling it to.
- HAVs Bounce or move in an unnatral way when fired. (Maybe to do with lag)
- After getting a red message on the top right basicly saying vehicl limit reached i get charged for my 120k HAV and the one i had is no longer valid
- Spawn Location need to be at least 2 or 3 at points A/B & C to avoid camps.
- DmG taken from hitting objects on the map when in HAVs should be reduiced.
- DmG taken from hitting objects on the map when in Dropships should be doubled
- Got stuck on the loading screen for about 10 mins had to restart the ps3
- Market sometimes will not load
- Shield/Armor reps should not be cancalable. ( the number of time ive turned one off trying to put an other one on grrr! )
Thats as far as ive got i hope it helps as i said love the game just needs a bit of polish

Pretty much agree with everything you say here except "surplus of ancient artefacts" as title music. It is awesome and shouldn't ever be changed .
That and I like the assault rifle sound. I hope the do an assault rifle for each race though. |

I'll piggyback on an existing thread for feedback from this past weekend ending 29th July.
- Swarm Launcher does not operate reliably. It is purely hit or miss as to whether or not it attempts to lock at all when pressing R1. They sometimes "dumbfire" when I didn't tell it to do so.
- Icons not only do not display properly by target [differentiating between people, LAV, HAV, dropship], they are sometimes not displaying at all. Often times they show the wrong color, denying proper swarm launcher locking-on mayhem and violence.
- Draw distances seem to be very inconsistent. If you're in a dropship you can see better than if you're in anything else, not counting for zoom.
- Display is very inconsistent. If a target is showing an icon, it should KEEP showing the icon until I can't draw the target any more.
- Comm channels are cross-wiring frequently. I was listening in on the OPFOR comms in one match just last night as an example. I did enjoy hearing how they thought I was in a prototype heavy suit - and how they couldn't one-shot me with a sniper rifle shot off the "table" in the middle of the Plateaus map. (I'm not using anything costing Aurum - and Amarr Heavy Dropsuit V is a looooooooooooong way off from where I'm at.) They did pair up and get me when I ran out of grenades and heavy munitions though. ^__^
- I'd suggest leaving the tinfoil 'free' militia LAV and HAV in the game at release. There shouldn't be an equivalent dropship past the point that a certain percentage of the player base has learned Piloting I. |
