Similar to that of Black Ops/DCUO/BF3 or any other game that has daily or weekly challenges which allow players to get more SP besides simply arbitrarily grinding. |

People can say whatever they wish about the COD series and their traumatic experiences playing the game, but to dismiss the things it actually does right is laughable. |

Here's something to think about. Does E.V.E have said challenges for extra sp?
If so then just maybe Dust514 will have them as well. If no then i guess not. Looks like your in for the long grind.
If they were going to put in challenges that let you get sp quicker they wouldn't have put a 7 year time to max everything out.
Just be grateful they didn't make were you actually have to train skills one by one over time. Much like E.V.E. |

I would rather something more a kin to that of SOCOM: Confrontation, KILLZONE2, or especially Warhawk. All of which did it very well. Battlefield does it well too though. |

Its not a set 7 year time, things will get added taken away and that arbitrary number is pretty much useless.
In b4 well they said in the keynotes it would take 7yrs blah blah blah Ad nauseam. |

That would be if Dust was strictly an FPS game to which it's not. That would be assuming what we are seeing is the entire game which it's not. What we are seeing is probably only a 16th of the game when it goes live.
Evey post you make just makes you look dumber. |

I think the whole "7 years to skill to max" was ONLY with passive XP gain. It would take considerably less time to skill up all skills if you actually play an hour or two a day, down to maybe... oh, I dunno... 2-3 years? |

DCUO is an MMO which includes feat points (which are basically challenges players can complete for feat points which eventually get converted into Skill points) There's absolutely nothing wrong with rewarding players for healing X amount of damage in a game, or killing X amount of players with a specific weapon.
You rEVEtards have your heads shoved far up your ass You constantly say dust is an MMOFPS if challenge points work in both FPS and MMO's theres absolutely no reason as to why they shouldn't be in DUST.

proto what game r u from originally? i thought u were an eve players urself :P and DCUO skill points cant be earned any other way than completeing "objectives" and is very interesting how its done so ur character is more godlike than a person who just kills things but they could include it i really dont see it being needed but they could we dont know much about anything right now |

I agree with the idea but I don't think the amount of SP you get should be very high I just know that I hope this game gets trophies. |
