ok this do,s with skirmish games only iv been seeing how some players join a game only to play like 2 or less mins and leave and some on some teams o most every one leaves leaving only 4 or 7 guys to take on 12 or 16 on the other team.
so why not make some pain for the AWOAL,s how bout every time you start a game if you leave be for it ends ( not counting down time) you loss some of your free SP! say 10% untill it get to 10,000 or under SP then you start losing SP out of your skills
this rite here stops them AWOAL,s form droping games and runing the game play of others . |

i actually like this idea
ive been on the defending team and we got pushed right back to the northern spawn location i managed to get a lav out and drop a spawn droplink to the south behind enemy lines i then hacked objective B expecting a few guys to spawn and help me keep the objective only to see player has left player has left scroll down the right of the screen 6-7 times there so i hid and checked the map could only see a few blue markers and they were pinned down
some from of penalty for going awol and abandoning u team should happen i think corperations in the final release should have the option of setting this penalty weather it be from sp earned in battle or isk
but then again if u have been bought out (bribed) by the opposing force then sp gain should stand |

When you quit a match in progress, you miss out on any potential SP gain you had for the match. If you just run with Militia fits while the other team brutalise your teammates and you derpt about in the spawn, there's still SP and ISK given, so quitting already means you lose out. |

This has a few drawbacks...
1. It will promote ppl to find a hiding spot and just do nothing for the rest of the game instead of leaving.
2. It punishes ppl for getting disconnected or having their game bug out (things they can't control).
3. It punishes the poor souls that pickup a snowball'd match to find the default spawn is being camped. I don't blame them for just wanting to leave. I'll stay for the isk and the nearly impossible challenge to get out with a droplink, but to each their own.
I'd be okay with this if it was an option (not mandatory) in corp matches or customized matches, but not in the general match types that we have now. |

just track the number if times the player leaves before a contract has been issued and not hire them also track
W/L KDR PPB (points per battle) PPM (points per minute)
so you can make an informed decision on wether or not to hire a specific merc or not
and besides all that...just wait untill a corp wants you to lose and takes a contract and bails in the last secs of a match just to have you lose the district/planet

If CCP runs Dust in any way like they do Eve, it will be simple, no skill point loss for disconn, as that is a valid strategy. Yes, it sucks for other people on your team, but the thing is, unless it is a direct exploit of game mechanics (a hack), then CCP in the past has not cared. Their belief is to use EVERY strategy at your disposal to gain a planet, even if that means paying the other team to disconnect so your team wins. |

yes but it still is not anuff to stop most players when you join a game you must stay there or you lost some of your sp this all so help stop most noobs who should not be in a T2 drop suit from ever geting in one or the ones who only drive tanks and qite even if there team is wining be cuz he or she lost there tanks or drop ship. |
