This may have already been asked but I cant find it. When it says you need Level 5 of something does that mean you have to buy the thing 5 times in order to get to level 5 or am I missing something |

Nah, you have to buy the skill. Goto 'Skills' on your character sheet. you'll see them there.
Levels 1-5, each one cost more Skill Points than the last. |

If you talking about the level on items were it says "Lvl 5 non-circuitry" or "Lvl 5 electronics" it means it requires that skill level for you to equip it.
So if it says:
Electronics - Lvl 4
Nanocircuitry - Lvl 2
It means that you have to have a skill level of 5 in electronics and 2 in Nano before you are able to use the item |

Yes, buy the skill 5 times to max it out. Every time you buy it, it will give you a little blue indicator as to how many you have bought. Skills have different price increases, so some skills cost more to increase than others. |

5x means it takes 5 times the SP to train. |

You need to buy the skillbook and use SP for leveling up.
Maybe you have also the skill and need just to Level up with the SP.
The Skill has 5 Levels, every level cost SP.

P.S This is not a stupid question, if you have never played Eve-Online, then you need to understand the skillsystem first. But after a while you will understand it. :) |
