We have dismissed that claim. Those of you who have played Mass Effect will understand the festering sarcasm here. Honestly though, we really should refrain from using the word "new" when it is simply new renditions of (in fact) old maps. We've played Biomass and Communication before - slapping an [Asia] in front of it or Ambush at the end of it doesn't make it new, just makes it slightly less objective based or ping-friendly than when we did (in fact) play it. CCP, I'm not trying to troll or be a **** here, but please refrain from getting the hopes of the masses up. I for one expected this because last week (or the week before?) there was a "new" map announced that wound up being a different game mode of the same map we already had.

A tweet from CMDR_WANG says that the next two maps are still a work in progress. I don't understand why they didn't just tell us here on the forums. 99% of us would have understood that things happen and deadlines get pushed. But honestly, this morning, I felt like a kid running downstairs to the Christmas tree to open presents only to find out that none of them are mine.

It's not that bad to announce something and then come back and say "sorry guys, bit of a delay it wont make it in time" just KEEP US POSTED is all we want. Cause i sure as well dont want to see CCP guys turning into rocks and never say a word in fear we'll torch them every time it ends up not being 100% exact. In fact, communicate more, we love it.

Well, social media outlets still serve a purpose because they inform people who are not participating in the beta. But yes, these forums should be the default communication medium between Dev and Tester. (Even though they pretty much already are, I feel this instance is just one big fluke)

I dont tweet, Fb, whatever[and lm sure many people are the same]..what l do is check these forums everyday...being it the Beta forum and all. This place should get the news first....everywhere else second. I was trying to convince a couple of friends who have already left the Beta after only a few weeks to come back and test the new maps...Bad Santa am l.

Well, I'll be damned. Someone managed to f u c k up even worse than CCP usually does. Making another unrelated news source we have to subscribe to. Screw that.
