I hopped on a sagaris with my heavy yesterday and started blapping it with my forge gun, +25s popped up again and again, then the driver popped out and started shooting me, so I fell off and he hopped back in and killed me with his railgun.
T'd off, I tried calling in dropships, but he blapped two of them, and my allies nearby. I managed to hide, and force him to flee with my forge gun and finally got out with a dropship and found a good perch.
It was beautiful, blap, blap, blap BOOOM. I think he left the match.
After that match I fitted an assault forge gun, cuz I know he would have been done for the first time I was on his tank if I had one, or anti-vehicle grenades which I also fitted.
Next time, he won't get a chance to get out >:] |

Took 6 players with AV grenades dropping them all at once onto him while 2 were also shooting with Forge Guns, and I was in the background with another guy raining Swarm missiles from range.
So 8 players working together vs. 3 in a tank. |

Yeah, I even killed Jenza with an AV nade, but she just brought in another. Like I say, good Sagaris don't die, they just respawn |

I've taken out well fit HAV's on my own before now, proto swarm with triple complex damage mods and a nanohive is all you need, it's not easy by any means but militia tanks go down in 2 salvos and no dropship can run from 3. A good fit HAV will take 6 or 7 at the most unless he can get away for his 30 second cooldown on his rep. Whole fit took me maybe 1.5 mil sp and costs about 25 k isk. This is why I hardly use my Surya anymore since I've realised how easy it is to make a good AV fit. |

I don't see how you stay alive to get 6 locks. Good tanks seem to kill me before I can get more than 2 forge guns shots in. Sensible drivers should just get out of range very quickly. Toughest sag to kill I've found literally drive laps with large missile & 2 small missile. Literally couldn't get visual range without dying. I'm starting to think Marauders are OP. not because they are tough to kill, but because no-one uses a gunloggi. The whole militia suit vs Proto suit argument again. It's the 1.5 damage mod that IMHO makes them OP. |

It's all about the situational awareness and choosing the battleground to fight the tank. Always stick to the high ground and leave plenty of obstacles between you and the tank. I always choose to hit them form a distance with my assault forge gun. Makes it easier for them to runaway, but unless you're in a squad, it's what you gotta do to stay alive. Also lvl up your mobility skill and put the kinetic biotic module that makes your sprint speed faster, gets that heavy on the move for when tanks get up close and you need to get to cover quickly. I would also say to always use assault forge guns instead of forge guns... more powerful and less charge time, sure you can't hold the charge but you don't really want to when it reduces your movement so much. BTW does anyone else feel it's kinda backwards that the regular forge gun gets the shaft... seems like holding the charge and longer charge time would grant more dmg rather than quick fire... I like it how it is, just given other stats on things, seemed kinda odd to me. |

I've had the best luck with taking out super tanks from the big center platform. The big open area where the attackers spawn is also a great tank killing field, or it was until drivers figured out how to snipe with their main guns from beyond the draw distance. (That way you can't get a Swarm lock-on without becoming a sitting duck.)
I hate tank snipers. |

if you can ambush a sagaris from behind you can kill it prettty quickly. A sagaris was under the plattform on skirmish, i had a drop uplink on top of it, spawned with a proto forgegun and AV grenades, jumped down, threw 3 Av grenades and shot him 4 times with the forgegun and then boom he blew up. Never saw a sgaris quicker exploding then that 1. There was also a logistics behind him no clue what he tried to do but he died in one of the explosions of the AV grenades at the start. He tried to run off in a stright line well that was his worst decision he coulda make. |
