The game isn't near completion, and is at least 3-4 months away from release. There's no way of actually joining a corp in-game, no way of joining your corp mates, and at its worst, you can even face them. You may say it promotes a sense of community and communcation, but surely it detracts from the main aim of the beta - to test the game? If people get into a corp and start discussing tactics and builds (especially on enjin), it takes away a lot of possible feedback that CCP will get from these forums. In short, why are people recruiting when there's no grouping and comms needing improvement? Last of all... Has it all come after the IGN weekend?

In the same breath you are doing the same thing by making this thread good job.And this thread is a way bigger distraction , at least recruitment threads will get more people to play the game and stay devoted. Has it all come after the IGN weekend? probably because CCP doesn't need to know the info behind certain strategies and tactics. They only need to know what game breaking bugs are still in the game. Enjin for corp talk. Forums for beta talk. Seems simple enough for me. As for people recruiting, its never too early to start planning.

And yes, CCP does need to know. It could provide insight into certain imbalances in the game, and hence allow them to fix said imbalances. I don't really have an example, but... With regards to your idea, Benjamin, in my experience it takes organisation before that actually happens. People have to be told to do it. It's unlikely that corps will organise this on their own, or that CCP will organise it for them. It's a good idea, but I don't think it would work unless corps and CCP actively tried to do something about it. @ "The Boss"... It may not occur to people that recruiting and setting up your own forums will take away from these forums. If I joined a corp, I'd try to socialise with my corpmates as much as possible, and get all information from there. It's very unlikely that I'd join in these forums again. As a result, any bugs I'd find would be posted in those forums instead of these forums... And which forums do CCP have ready access to? This one. Corps may make it easier for people to be more engaged in the game, but, as of yet, no one needs to be engaged. It's for testing, not for playing (as of yet). And, to be honest, a lot of people who buy into the beta have done so already. A lot more people play slay on PS home, or wait for beta keys. Just because you're part of a clan and you play, and suggest to your clan mates that they play, doesn't mean they'll join you.

Like PEEEEEEETREEEEEEEEEEEEEE said, enjin is mostly for corp talk that doesn't concern the entire beta community.
